Exclusive Fruity Slots Interview
Today we have a very special guest as we discuss the dedicated, hit slots site - Fruity Slots. The obvious start for this would be to introduce our guest and get a general overview of Fruity Slots and what they do.
So would you be so kind as to introduce yourself?
Jamie: “Of course, I am Jamie and one of the creators of Fruity Slots. Fruity slots started when me and my partner Josh started streaming us playing slots games on YouTube. This is something we both enjoyed and uploading seemed like a great idea. Obviously seven years down the line we know that this idea paid off, but at the start, it was nerve-wracking.”
How did you gain your popularity?
Jamie: ”Well it started fairly slow and then more people started to watch and these people stuck around and then more came in and we realised the videos were doing well and we were gaining a fair few subscribers.”
Did you have prior knowledge of the industry?
Jamie: “Yes, me and Josh have a combined 25-plus years of experience in the gaming industry so when we started to stream, we knew what we were talking about and understood the mechanics of the games we were playing.”
Do you think this knowledge gave you an advantage?
Jamie: “Personally, I believe it gave us a major advantage. A lot of people who do similar things to what we do have experience with the slots side but not with the actual industry itself. We have those ins and know more because it is our field of work.”
How did you grow into the business you are today?
Jamie: “This is a good question because it has a long answer. When we started and saw growth, we realized that we could use our experience in the field to make a good enough income to pay for the slots from the videos. Then over time we started to get affiliate links and came up with the idea of keeping our YouTube channel but using it to grow a website.”
“We hired one of our long-time followers, Scotty, and gave him the task of running the streaming side of the business while me and Josh focused on the site. Now here we are and we are having a lot of success in running a slot site we both love.”
What plans do you have for the future?
Jamie: “We have recently been talking about branching into other categories. We are already one of the most reputable UK slot sites, so soon Fruity Slots are aiming to become one of the most trustworthy UK bingo sites until we dominate the gambling industry”
How would you describe Fruity Slots to someone who may have never heard of you?
Jamie: “If I were to try and convince someone who has never heard of Fruity Slots to watch our streams or use our site, I would simply say that we are a group of very passionate people in the gambling industry, who run a leader in the UK gambling industry. Whether you are after entertaining games or want to watch us play games instead, we have both of these options for you and have everything you need as a gambling fan.”
My Final Message
As you can see, the passion and the care of Jamie and his team is outstanding, they clearly care about the games they play and the players who play them. Having a YouTube channel with 60 thousand subscribers is no small feat and gaining their start from this is a good sign about the care and passion these guys have. As a gambling fan myself, I can see the care compared to the bigger corporations and the difference is major.
