32Red is to Leave Italian Market
After some eight years of operations in the region, Kindred Group has agreed to withdraw its 32Red mark from the Italian market.
32Red.it will close on November 30. The news was reported in a statement on the website. As written:
"We are sorry to inform you that starting from November 30th 32Red will no longer be operational. It was a difficult choice to make. We hope, however, that these years spent together have been fantastic for you, as they have been for us."
The operator urged customers to remove funds by 29 November, as after this stage they would not be able to reach the site.
Kindred Group will concentrate on marketing its other brand on the Italian market, Unibet.it. The operator said Unibet would "guarantee 32Red.it players the warm welcome they deserve."
Though Kindred Group bought 32Red for a total of £175m ($226m) in 2017, the company has been operating in the Italian market since 2012.
The operator is yet to report its Q3 sales, but amid the effect of COVID-19 on revenues, it reported an 8% increase in H1 revenue. The total gaming income for the time was £484.8m.
