Gambling.com adds new responsible gaming content to its library
This past Monday, The American Gaming Association (AGA) introduced its safe gaming education week, launching a variety of measures to try and protect individuals from gambling overload. It still aims to help develop how space market operators keep their deals safe, and has launched its Responsible Marketing Code for sports wagering to help it accomplish this target. In accordance with the activities of the AGA, the Gambling.com company has increased its capital distribution supporting Responsible Gaming Center, and now has a dedicated responsible gaming hub on its website, Gambling.com.
According to a press release, the latest independent services are intended to "help people identify problem behaviour early and offer connections to service agencies in the group's main markets". The library provides instructional and advice materials which addresses key topics such as the principles of safe gaming, how to remain under charge, how to find assistance and how to safeguard children.
Charles Gillespie, CEO of the Gambling.com company, explains: "If the online gaming market is developed in america and begins to grow across the world, it is crucial not to lose perspective on the industry's social costs. We remain committed to being pioneers in ethical gaming and to ensure that the industry as a whole adopts a cautious approach to ensuring the longevity of what is a safe leisure practice for most people... but sadly not for all."
Gambling.com first joined the U.S. gambling scene in 2018 when it opened up shop in New Jersey. it had already been involved in Australia, Canada, Finland, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway and Sweden and was able to help the U.S. develop its gaming business, which would receive a big boost in may of that year when PASPA was axed by the supreme tribunal. It has since continued to broaden its activities, including adding the American Gambling Awards, which has a responsible gaming division.
The Responsible Gambling Award is intended to recognize the individual who has done the most to protect online players and promote a healthy, stable environment for online gaming. The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) was the recipient of the inaugural Responsible Gambling Award".
Responsible gaming has been the hottest topic as the prevalence of gambling progresses. It is as much a part of the game as the wagers to provide tools available to people who can help them defend themselves and those around them. While some jurisdictions make a futile effort to ban gambling altogether, it has already been shown to yield stronger outcomes in enabling gaming and responsible gaming capital to go forward in tandem.
