ICE London confirmed to take place next summer

Clarion Gaming confirmed new dates for ICE London and iGB Affiliate London next year's editions.

ICE London will now be hosted at ExCel London exhibition centre from 29 June to 1 July, with iGB Affiliate London set for 1 and 2 July at the same site.

Clarion Gaming, a company that organizes this events, also announced that iGB live 2021 will switch from July to a new date in Amsterdam, from 28 September to 1 October.

Due to the continuing coronavirus pandemic effect, the decision to move the flagship gaming events was made, and the new UK government recommendations on social gatherings were reduced to six.

Initially, ICE London 2021 was moved back from February to April, but Clarion noted the new decision "follows close consultation with the international stakeholder community," with many asking for more time for the sector to improve economic and travel regulations.

Clarion Gaming CEO Kate Chambers said: 

"This extension provides a number of important advantages compared with April, not least enabling the very best possible space configurations and accessibility at ExCeL London.

As well as the significant logistical benefits, we are also very much aware that it provides additional market recovery time – which we believe will further enhance and support the delivery, outcomes and experiences for all participants.

Clarion will be presenting the journey to ICE and iGB 2021 from February leading up to the launch, a series of multimedia agreements encouraging the industry to connect online and have exclusive updates, including plans to stream next live internationally for the first time.
