Marketing Influencers Help Casinos to Rebound from Pandemic Damage

Marketing influencer is a present-day method of marketing and advertisement that often includes testimonial ads via social media platforms by organizations or individuals. The success of this practice has grown hundreds of times over the past 10 years, and at present it is recognized as influencers by the individuals it performs.

Although some people may term this practice a hobby, the work of influencers is no different from any other person's everyday job. In reality, influencers also do even more, and share personal events and interactions with their viewers. But why did the role of influencer become so popular? The rise of the reach of social media unquestionably continued to expand the number of influencers. According to a January 2019 survey by We Are Social over 45% of the world's population or 3.5 billion people are engaged on social media.

As this is a form of advertisement, influencers may either earn a promotional charge, or obtain a free product or experience. In the US, the Federal Trade Commission has outlined guidelines that would alert their public of influencers who have earned money in return for advertising. This is not the case even when the influencer gets a commodity free of charge. In other words, once an influencer gets the commodity for free, it is their duty to choose whether or not to advertise it.

Influencers Will Help Revive The Gambling Industry

Given the economic damage caused to the casino sector by the COVID-19 pandemic, influencers will certainly help the operators rebound. Brian Christopher is one influencer with crucial input into several casinos. His Brian Christopher Slots YouTube channel has nearly 300,000 viewers, with over 187 million of his views combined. His fun videos show him playing slot games, slots with a high cap, and more. Christopher travelled around the globe and released hundreds of hours of entertaining video footage shot at famous casinos.

Christopher was born in Toronto, Canada and now lives in Los Angeles, California. Though we can't be sure how many casinos he has toured in California, Christopher has undoubtedly seen the inside of a large amount, if not any, of venues. The popular influencer just posted a video visiting Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California a few days ago.

More casinos in Southern California are adopting the concept of having influencers according to a new report by The Press-Enterprise. While casino entertainment reaches a niche demographic, influencers that feature Brian Christopher-like content will make a difference and attract more fans to the casino floors.

In addition, following reopening from the closure imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on June 15, San Manuel Casino welcomed Christopher and other influencers to attend. He played slots in his live show, and also complimented the health and safety steps COVID-19 that included temperature monitoring, plexiglass spacers, and more.
