Scientific Games signs four-year Dutch Lottery deal

The Scientific Games formed a new alliance with the Dutch National Lottery, Nederlandse Loterij.

The contract would see Scientific Games supply the Lottery with its instant game scratch cards for a four-year term. The instant games will be distributed through the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership (SGEP), the management software for the suppliers. To handle the instant product collection the software uses data and analytics.

Since 1994, the supplier has supplied its scratch cards to the Dutch Lottery, switching to their SGEP in 2010. The Sgep has contributed to 28% growth in the Lottery's scratch card revenue over the last four years, and 98% growth since 2011, according to figures from Scientific Games sports.

At the completion of the deal Nederlandse Loterij has the option to extend the arrangement to an further four years.

Currently Scientific Games uses the SGEP in collaborations with more than 20 lotteries worldwide.
