SG Digital Adds NetEnt’s Slot Content to Aggregation Platform

Scientific Games (SG), a gaming and lottery company, today reported that its digital subsidiary has entered an agreement with the major online casino supplier NetEnt. Under the terms of the agreement, NetEnt's iGaming content will be spread through controlled US markets through the SG Digistal's OpenGaming platform.

Scientific Games Improves Its Presence

Through joining forces with the world's largest slot games company, SG aims to expand its reach across the territories of the United States. Its OpenGaming distribution portal has invested in a wide variety of common game service provider updates, which are now available in New Jersey. The use of OpenGaming for NetEnt's content would shortly extend into Michigan and Pennsylvania to include network partners.

“This strategic partnership is highly beneficial for both Scientific Games and NetEnt. Together, we’re in a strong position to make further inroads into the US iGaming market and deliver outstanding content to more players across multiple states.”

NetEnt's slot portfolio featuring breakout titles such as Divine Fortune, Starburst and Gonzo's Quest will add another layer to OpenGaming's Scientific Games range and mark a crucial landmark in SG's continuous efforts to create the world's largest iGaming aggregation network.

“NetEnt’s games need no introduction and we’re very confident that our operating partners in the US will appreciate the high-quality gameplay they offer players. Our vision for OpenGaming has always been an aggregation platform at scale with features that work across multiple studios in every regulated market. We’re looking forward to working with the team at NetEnt. ”

NetEnt Products Join Fine Environment

The OpenGaming portal includes over 2,500 games, including in-house produced titles and third-party development software, as well as features such as jackpots, free-rounds, quests and tournaments, and represents the ideal environment for NetEnt slot gaming content. Often included in the program are ethical gaming resources that are useful to players during gameplay.

“Expanding our presence in the US market is paramount for NetEnt and collaborating with Scientific Games while leveraging the power of their OpenGaming platform fits that strategy. We’re excited about working with Scientific Games in the US and look forward to launching our popular slots with more operators in the coming months.”

Brian Kraft, VP Commercial, NetEnt Americas LLC

In addition to the slot distribution arrangement, the two software suppliers are also pursuing possibilities for partnership aimed at providing participants with cutting-edge expertise in all controlled markets.

Both softwares have recently been involved on the collaboration front, as Scientific Games has increased its relationship with Hard Rock International, while NetEnt has grown its digital presence on Pennsylvania by releasing its online content for Wind Creek Casino, in addition to becoming a priority for acquisition from Evolution Gaming.
