Yggdrasil Expands the Swiss Market

Following the Swiss industry re-regulation in 2019, Grand Casino Luzern has been able to sign a range of content partners for its iGaming company mycasino.ch. On December 10, Yggdrasil has become the new leading provider of iGaming to support the content of the casino.

Yggdrasil Joins The Newly Controlled Swiss Market

Award-winning iGaming creator and publisher Yggdrasil, in a collaboration with local affiliate Grand Casino Luzern, and the company's local business brand mycasino.ch, is moving into the Swedish market.

The collaboration helps Yggdrasil to roll out its product line and enter new Swiss publics. A strong emphasis is focused on the company's slot portfolio containing brand new titles, including Valley of the Gods 2, Hyperburst, Syncronite Splitz and Hades Giglablox.

Yggdrasil is now introducing a touch to its authentic YG Masters product portfolio to expand its presence, covering various games including Christmas Tree, a recently launched Christmassy slot game by True Lab, a part of the YG Masters team.

Thanks to Yggdrasil's extensive collaboration network, software has been able to establish lucrative collaborations with indie developers who are keen to meet new markets through YG Masters.

Meanwhile, after Switzerland agreed to re-regulate its gaming industry in 2019, Grand Casino Luzern has improved its role in the domestic market, offering local companies a distinct edge over international operators.

Mycasino.ch recently established another portal marketing agreement with ORYX Gaming, which has made use of mycasino.ch as its entrance point to the thriving, growing Swiss market.

A Successful Entrance Into The Swiss Market

Commenting on these trends, Global Market Operations Chief at Yggdrasil Björn Krantz said the company was happy to be part of the Swiss market and to partner with Grand Casino Luzern.

Krantz clarified that the new tie-up was an indication of the willingness of the group to focus on a far-reaching growth agenda and a commitment to expanding its scope, footprint and presence in what he described as high-value markets. He had this to go further:

“We are excited to add our games to Casino Luzern’s existing offering and to be able to reach more players with our ever-expanding portfolio of innovative and exciting content. Both parties are now working on the planning for a successful launch to take place soon.”

Wolfgang Bliem, CEO of Grand Casino Luzern, was similarly delighted with market entry, claiming that Yggdrasil is a industry-leading slot operator with a range of exciting names that "never fail to impress".

Mycasino.ch and Grand Casino Luzern were delighted to bring their players to Yggdrasil's comprehensive portfolio of opportunities, Bliem concluded.
