l this is deductible because on the reef image used as background you can see a city with buildings, pipelines, roads and street lighting, and characters used as symbols dress clothes, some are allowed to grow a mustache, others makeup and paint the lips, and all of them look smiling - I think at this point can be born a new science branch named something like sea life psychoanalysis, hehe -. All this to say I really liked design, animations and audio effects of this slot machine, but honestly, I liked it even more the system of this game, because I consider in the absence of a wild symbol, Reef Run is equipped with a decent paytable and a round of free spins with unique characteristics (at least to my knowledge).

During the base game, it is needed the occurrence of 3, 4, or 5 scatters with words Free Spins on them, in order to get 10, 20, or 60 free games. This feature may be retriggered and the only difference is during free games round is also available 2 additional FS obtained with the appearance of 2 scatters. So far it doesn´t seem to be anything new for a round of free games, but novelty here are the multipliers that increase 5 x per level up to20 x, whenever a profit is made on any active payline with the figure of every creature, for example , if you get, in the first turn, a profit with the emergence of 3 octopus icons, a 5x multiplier starts to accumulate for the next payline you form with this character; here a picture of the octopus appears on one side of the screen with the message "5 x" if you complete another line with this animal later, it appears 10 x, 15 x and 20 x then; just as other animals will appear simultaneously if it applies. I made my best big wins during FS rounds, and I say best because I also got some big wins in the base game by completing 5 of a kind.

And yet this is true. This “Reef Run” is on the 1st or 2nd place among the most beautiful and the most the extraordinary slots played by me before. This slot belongs to the Yggdrasil casinos.

There are many other slots with this theme, the one of the reefs in the ocean and of the creatures that populate the seas but “Reef Run” is by far the best of the best.As I said in the beginning, this is no copy of all the other earlier slots, and here all the fish have their specific charm. I never met such types of fish before, so full of charm.

I have played here just a bit, maybe 150, maybe 200 spins, but after I will finish writing this review I will definitely return here for another few hundred spins. I was so attracted by this slot here that I forgot to count the spins that I played and what I won (I just played for virtual money). For sure is that when I started writing this review I had about 40 Euros more. Since I played with a minimum bet of 20 cents/20 paylines, and just about 150-200 spins you can imagine what have been my winnings. But nicer than the wins here is the game itself.

The game is so exciting that I went 4 times into Free Spins: 3 times I played 10 Free Spins and once even 20. In Free Spins every time when a character (a certain fish) aligns a multiplier is increasing for it.After the first win, the multiplier is 5 x, after 2nd win the multiplier is up to 10 x, after the third win it reaches 20 x! With these multipliers at the end of the 20 Free Spins I had that win that I mentioned at the beginning of the review, a “Super Mega Big Win” of 20 Euros! The screen shot is attached above.

If you play this slot will definitely like it after the first 5 spins. This slot is better than almost all Microgaming slots. Very nice!

Well the game Reef Run from software provider Yggdrasil is another example of innovation and creativity. It offers one unique feature that I haven’t come across before. The game doesn’t even have a wild symbol, yet it simply is one of the best Yggdrasil games. Reef Run takes you to deep sea and shows you how life is underwater where you meet several types of fishes that seem to live a worriless life.

In addition, the animations of the symbolic characters are excellent, while the graphics are superb as well. The paytable doesn’t offer spectacular payouts though. However, it’s still possible to have a big win in this game which I’ll explain later. Reef Run consists of 5-reels, 3-rows and 20-paylines. The minimum bet is only 20 cents. You can find this game at Mr Green for instance.

I played it mainly on 40 cent bets during one session. Like I said the paytable doesn’t offer anything spectacular. So my base game hits were nothing to laugh about basically. The max win for a five of a kind is only 50x bet during base game. I never came further than a win of 8 euros though during a couple of hundred spins.

Let it be clear here that the base game isn’t where the big money is at. You really need to enter the free spins mode to be able to bag in a good win. That’s where you will experience the innovative feature I was talking about earlier as well.

You need 3, 4 or 5 free spins symbols to trigger 10, 20 or 60 free spins. During free spins mode every time a particular symbol gives you a win, the multiplier for that particular symbol combo moves up from 1x to 5x to 10x and eventually all the way up to 20x.

Needless to say with a 20x multiplier combinations can really pay off. The max win would be 1000x bet with a 5oak of the highest paying symbol and a 20x multiplier. I experienced the free spins a few times which ended up in a win of 10 euros, 14 euros and 40 euros.

It was mainly the lower paying symbols that I managed to have a 5x multiplier on. The highest paying symbol only makes rare appearances unfortunately. But if you get lucky with this game and hit 5 scatters for 60 free spins for instance, then that round can really produce a monster when getting the right symbols.

Overall a fantastic game that I simply have nothing to complain about.

Fortunately, this feeling comes along when I look at Reef Run game. This little slot is another ‘water world’ slot which illustrate all kinds of aquatic animals in exceptional ways. All of the crab, octopus, fish, seahorse symbols are very attractive and captivating and I like their funny and cute interpretations and the very good color usage which is very rich but don’t became a cavalcade. The transparent background image depicts a city under the see where all these little animals are living and with that the big picture is completed and we get a comprehensive thrilling interface. Thumbs up to creators for all of this!

Unfortunately the game segment can’t reach that quality level and I can say it’s absolutely not a good one. For some strange reason the features the game uses are almost useless and it wouldn’t be a big problem if the game would be a very simple working product but the lack of good quality and the missing main symbols simple makes this whole product a messed up slot. The game doesn’t use any Wild symbol which needless to say is a serious problem. The primary 5 of a kind win is worth only 1000 coins which is not too generous and even if we have a chance to multiply it which capability attached to one of the feature but it requires very special arrangement on the screen so it’s not too probably to get a chance to see it ever.

This feature is the Level-up add-on which means if we get winning combinations with the same kind of symbols continuously spin after spin the second win is multiplied by x5 then x10 and x20. So basically we should collect a win by Pufferfish symbols at 4! consecutive spins and the last one must be a 5 of a kind win and then we can win the Jackpot of the game which could be 20.000 coins. I think it’s very hard to complete task and require much more luck than an everyday slot game to do the same. The free spins that attached to this slot has good numbers as we’re awarded 10, 20 or even 60 spins but they’re played with no used win multipliers and they’re really triggered very rare times so I also can’t call it a good extra side game.

Sorry to say that but this game is a bad one, I have no reason to try to beautify things here. For me the two main parts of the game are very contradictory. I can play here with a very great and beautiful interface which I really like and would consider as a top-notch work but all of the other segments are brutal. There are no good features at all and what the game offers are useless, the paying ability is also very weak, the obvious lack of being entertaining slot, the hiatus of the Wild function symbol and I can continue this listings but I think it’s better to suggest to everyone to avoid this slot and just can advise to find another Yggdrasil slot because there are other products from this developer that really deserves to be played.
