Dragon Lady is a video slot which invites you to embrace Eastern culture with its authentic theme. The slot comprises of 5 reels with 40 possible pay lines which contain wilds, free spin scatters and the chance to match your fortune during a bonus round which pays up to 100x your total bet.Dragon Lady Slot ThemeThe beautiful Dragon Lady (a term coined in the West) is beautiful, mysterious and domineering woman. In the UK when a woman is termed a Dragon it’s not meant in a flattering way, but this slot uses the Asian origin where Dragon Ladies are regarded in a positive light. ...
So basically everything on screen is a choice between the yellow/gold dragon symbol or the blue-ish Dragon to match for multipliers on the left side. So if I choose from one of the 9 pillars, they spin up to grab me the yellow or blue-ish dragon. Whatever my choice initially became is what I have to find for this entire bonus, if I land the opposite when the pillars spin for one of the two symbols then my feature is finishes with my wins! In one trigger that I had, I was so certain in my picks to gain the last blue-ish dragon for the 100x but instead lady loss made an appearance, enslaved lady luck in a cage, took her away in her alien rocket ship and landed my last symbol for a yellow dragon. I had only 60x my win then the 100x! $48 was however pleasant enough although.....seeing $80 vanish was like being told off by the evil master admin himself for 15 solid seconds;) .
The symbols don't necessarily have to be 3 different scatters (Fan, chinese lantern, dragon) to hit the bonus, they could be exactly the same so long as there's 3 of them in view! Very good use of Mahjong tiles for symbols and the way Dragon Lady has two features, The Dragon Bonus and Random free spins for 2x (10, 15 or 20 Free spins)
Even though it seems as if it easy to get the bonus it really is not.
There are three different scatters in this game. there is a fan, dragon and lantern. As long as you get three of any, you will get the feature. I got this feature many times and each one is different. My usual bet would be €0.80 and an average win on the bonus would be from €10 to €20. Once and only once i managed to get all of the dragons correct and was awarded with 100x my bet.
There are also free spins in this game and to get them i had to get a jewel box on first and last reels. This feature is random and you can be awarded anything from 10 to 20 spins. I got 10, 15 and 20 free spins through out all of my games and never really had a huge win. I won once over €50 on €0.80 bet but all of the other times its around €20 to €30.
Over all the game is fun and the bonus is very interesting but i never had a huge win on it and i must have spent over €100 on this game. The graphics in this game are really good and the sound effects are really nice. i think that it has potential to pay big but you need to be very lucky. I would not recommend this game but i also would not say that its bad. If i was to rate it i would give it 6 out of 10. Hope you enjoyed my review and have a nice day:)
For me, opposites attract, be it on land, in air, or in water, be it in UK, Europe or Africa. Hmm. Whatever. One look at the beautiful Oriental Dragon Lady and my fate has been sealed. Hahaha.
'Dragon Lady' is the Wild symbol, not the Lady in Red herself, 5 of which pay 5000x the line bet, but unfortunately, is yet another dumb Wild symbol, typical of what Microgaming likes to make of the Wilds in a lot of their games. I've never liked this and never will, of course. Then there are 3 different types of Scatter symbols, namely the Dragon, the Fan and the Red Lantern, but all 3 of them are also dumb symbols because they don't pay for their appearance on the reels. Sheesh! All they do is to trigger the Dragon Bonus game, where you pick out one lantern at a time to get a matching symbol to win a prize. Get 2 different symbols and the game ends. Is that fun at all? Heck no! Most of the time, the second pick would end the game and ends whatever thrilling expectation you had on it. Sometimes you may get lucky, get 2 matching symbols, but the third pick would usually end the game, for a 15x total bet win. Get 3 matching symbols and you win 30x. Get 4 matching symbols and you win 60x. Get 5 matching symbols for the maximum 100x total win amount, but you better get lots of daydreaming going on first. The 4 and the 5 matching symbols have never been won by me.
Get a Jewellery Box on reel 1 and 5 at the same time and you get a Free Spins game, the number of free spins being randomly awarded, either 10, 15 or 20 free spins. All wins are doubled and the Free Spins game can be retriggered. Well, the Free Spins games that I had won were either 10 or 15 free spins mostly, with the occasional 20 free spins. Payouts from these games are hardly ever big, never exceeding 50x my total bet, mostly around 20x - 30x, but at times below 10x too, as far as my games were concerned. Hardly ever exhilarating these free spins!
Paytable wise, the beautiful Lady in Red pays 2000x the line bet for 5 of her, followed by 1500x for the Pot, 1000x for the Gold Ingot, 900x for the Silver Ingot, and the rest down to 100x the line bet for 5 of them. With the Wilds at only 5000x, the Scatters don't even pay, and the Lady in Red at only 2000x, the paytable lacks punch for any good big wins, so don't go chasing for a big goose in this game. It probably won't happen.

Just barely do my free spins trigger for 20 Free spins....they are random for 10, 15 or 20 free spins at 2x for 2 jewel boxes scatters for the first and last reels. I had the 20 Free spins only once and always do I get 10 or 15! When it came to the Dragon bonus, I had to make sure I am lucky because when luck was needed and it didn't side with me, my bonus win fell to a short 15x only after my 2nd pick!
Well, what more can I say? The Dragon Bonus game tends to pay only 6x or 15x the total bet, with an occasional 30x win, and I haven't yet got any higher win than that. The Free Spins game plays and pays a little bit better, with payouts ranging from 10x - 40x, but these are never enough for me. Don't think it would be enough for most players too. Dragon Lady is a mediocre game, with mediocre payouts, and even mediocre entertainment, as far as I am concerned.
