ere is a mission bonus and a free spins feature. To get the mission bonus I had to get three mission symbols on the 2,3, and 4 reels. Once I got that I was pleasantly surprised. You are on a jet plane and you have to shoot at things. How awesome is that? There are two parts in this bonus. In the first stage you shoot at a base to find atomic fuel tanks. If you find three of them then you proceed to the second stage. I pass it almost every time, i'm sure everyone does. On the second stage you have to shoot at cars. And if you find the most wanted enemy leader you get big pay. I play this game mostly on €0.50 bet and usually win around €20 to €30. Its not bad but because I play this game for short time once I win that i'm happy and out.

Aerial combat arcade games were one of my favourites, spending hours and hours playing them. If not that, then it'll be racing down the streets in the dead of night, just like in the Fast and Furious movies. Ooh boy, how those games would drive my adrenaline sky high! Hahaha.

Coming across this Flight Zone game for the first time, needless to say, I was attracted by it. Graphics in the game are not too bad for its age, but the gameplay itself was not what I had expected, not up to my expectations, but being an action fanatic, finding a really satisfying action game can never come easily.

The logo is the Wild symbol, comes stacked on reels 2, 3 and 4, doesn't pay for itself nor double any wins, and substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter symbol. There are 2 kinds of Scatter symbols, both don't pay for themselves, which is a big letdown really, considering that even the Wilds don't pay anything. Getting the Missile Scatter symbol on reels 1 and 5 at the same time triggers 10 free spins with a 2x multiplier. More free spins can be retriggered and the Mission Bonus game can also be triggered during the free spins. Getting the Mission Scatter symbol on reels 2, 3 and 4 triggers the Mission Bonus game that plays in 2 separate missions. Mission 1 is to locate 3 atomic fuel tanks at the target site, blow them up, win coins, then move on to Mission 2, whereby you pick out one of the moving vehicles to try and hit the leader of the team. Coins award for each member of the team is indicated on the left of the play area. If you're lucky enough, you may just hit the right vehicle and get the leader. I only got this once, hehehe.

10 free spins with a 2x win multiplier isn't that much at all when both the Wild and Scatter symbols are non-paying. Retriggers are more like a dream, as usual. Wins can never be big, small mostly, average at times, because the paytable simply doesn't provide any potential for big wins. The highest paying symbol is only 1000x the line bet, double that up and it's only 2000x if won in a free spin, and that is simply just not enough for a good win! I've even had a zero win from the low-paying Free Spins game and that really sucked! My best score was only 28x my bet, won by getting that team leader in Mission 2. From the Free Spins game, it was only 18x my bet.

What a big disappointment Flight Zone turned out to be for me, with such blardy low payouts, with such a very low paytable, and with uninteresting feature games. Had a few retriggers came during the free spins, then it may have made the game much better, extending the play time, extending the payouts ratio, increasing the excitement levels in the game. But like I've said so many times before, retriggers are only for daydreamers or lucky ones, where Microgaming games are concerned. For me, they have hardly ever come!
