I love to see new softwares with some fresh ideas, and Yggdrasil gaming is definitely one of such softwares.

Games looks strange. At least it is not typical slots, and here is layout is interesting. I even can not say did I like it or not, so let leave such statement to each own player.

Game has interesting feature, there is wilds on all 5 reels, but it is 3 different type of wilds. Reels 1 and 5 have usual wilds. 2 and 4 has multiplier wilds, multiplier can be up to 10x (wow, this is huge). And last wild is on reel 3, and it is spreading wild which make more wilds. Also at this slot is possible to trigger freespins 3+ scatters needed. By the way for 5 scatters player get 75 freespins(wow this is also huge). In freespins using different reel layout and there is more wilds during it.

I tried this game only once to be honest, it was at Guts casino, and I lost 30$ with 0.40$ bets on this slot, but this is due to variance of this slot, which is quite high here. But I liked this slot, and next time playing at Guts casino I will definitely give it another go.

I am glad with this slot, it is something new in online slots, I am always happy to see new softwares, and I am more than happy to see when new softwares make interesting and not usual slots, like Yggdrasil did this slot. I rate it with 8 stars. Potential to win big here is really high.

Even the Secret Santa slot, the most beautiful slot from Microgaming is not so nice and successful. The story somewhat resembles with those of “Enchanted ....” slots or those stories with fairies, only here you encounter some animals that you have not met before even in the nicest stories you was told (charmed fish and enchanted creatures unparalleled anywhere so far, huge mushrooms that are simple wilds, or offering multipliers or even extending and including other symbols in their nets to turn them also into same wilds, so all these could continue unstopped). The music is so successful that made me feel like I was for a moment on the Christmas Eve. I have praised many slots lately here at AskGamblers but this slot from some still less common casinos is the most charming possible of the hundreds of games I have played ever. This is what I like here at AskGamblers and this is why I keep playing these slots: from time to time you find a slot really extraordinary and this rewards all the efforts made.

But I notice that I wrote so much and yet I have not described the game itself. On a grid of 3x4x5x4x3 having 20 paylines that pay both ways with a bet of 40 cents, about every spin is a winner. Some wins are small, of 5-20 cents, but about once every few spins it happens on the central reel a magic mushroom that extends its net to give other wilds. In fact the beauty of this slot (except for the magic symbols and for the equally good music accompanied by chirping birds) sits in these mushrooms that you cannot wait to have them on the reels. And because sometimes you can have up to 5-6 mushrooms, some of which extend and others offer 2x-4x multipliers, occasionally the wins are indeed huge (what would you say about an average win of 20-40 Euro from a single spin?). And if I say that also wins of 2-6 Euros are common here…

The Free Spins are so frequent, that you literally are charmed and start to wonder how you have not discovered earlier this slot! I think the success of slots with this format, depends largely on having a set of special features able to convince the players of the potential of this game, and what I have observed in other similar slots, is that these features should involve somehow many wild symbols, and indeed it seems that this supplier is quite clear this concept since here has incorporated three types of wilds as follows:

Well not with Yggdrasil Games. Magic Mushrooms is another masterpiece in my opinion which has a lot to offer. The game has 5-reels, 40-paylines and an unusual slot format. Reel 1 and 5 only have 3 rows, while reel 2 and 4 have 4 rows and reel 5 has 5 rows. In addition, Magic Mushrooms is a both-ways video slot, which means it pays from left to right and right to left.

Also nice to see is that the order of spinning is different. First reels 1, 2 and 3, 4 stop and then eventually reel 5 drops. This makes the game more exciting since it could be a good hit or nothing.

The symbols of the Magic Mushroom video slot are decorated with several little creatures and of course also all kinds of mushrooms (wilds). I played this game mainly on minimum bets, but I must confess the base game was kind of disappointing. Hardly had any good wins during my play and I played this game very long.

The real potential is in the free spins. You need 3, 4 or 5 snail symbols (scatter) to trigger 10, 20 or 75 free spins. I’ve won 10 free spins a couple of times. During the free spins there are a lot more wilds available.

Wilds on reel 1 and 5 are casual wilds, wilds on reel 2 and 4 are multiplier wilds all the way up to 10x bet, but the most important wild is the spreading wild appearing on reel 3 only. Overall this game is fun and offers great potential for that monster. Highly recommended!

Magical forest, mushrooms and small cute creatures with trance colors and magic all over.

Like their other games Magic Mushrooms looks fantastic especially if you have a high dot pitch screen to play on like an iPad or a 4K monitor. These games really deserve to be played at full screen to see them at their best.

Yggdrasil definitely seem mostly interested in creating games for true slot lovers, they don't seem interested in creating anything that isn't capable of a huge win, most of their games seem basically unique, and there are always a few tricks and surprises in store when trying one out for the first time. I haven't yet played one of these games that I haven't enjoyed, although the number of dead spins can be a little disconcerting sometimes.

As others have said in the reviews below this game isn't based on any illegal chemicals, although with the super bright and attractive graphics you could be forgiven for wondering! Instead the "magic" in these mushrooms is that they are all wild and have different abilities to enhance your spin. The wilds don't have a payout of their own but a full line can potentially 10,000 coins (with the multiplying mushroom at the maximum 10x), and that's easier to achieve than on most games thanks to the spreading wild that appears on the centre reel. I was surprised to see on very rare occasions the wild added to the reels can actually become spreading wilds themselves, and although I didn't get a big multiplier on that spin I still received over 300x my stake, which gives you an idea of just how big a win this game can produce under the right circumstances. You don't see many games with 40 paylines that pay both ways either.

If you land all five scatters on one spin your definitely going to have a good day as you are awarded with 75 free spins, and unlike os many games that use butchered reel strips for the free spins Yggdrasil go the other way and pimp out the free spins reels with additional wilds. I've seen videos of people winning a couple of thousand times their bet in this mode and I'm sure I am yet to see this games true potential. It's a monster! Definitely recommended :)
