game ReviewThe Mystery at the Mansion game can be found at NetEnt casinos. NetEnt do make the house edge information of their slots games available and this can be found in the help files of the game (usually accessed by pressing the вЂ?’ button at the bottom left of the game window). NetEnt games appear to only have one setting.Lightening splits the night in twain outside the windows of the old mansion illuminating the faces of those who are gathered in the drawing room listening as a detective is piecing together the clues, hoping that he will be able to discover which of the people sat around him is guilty of murder! This game is a 5 reel game, with 25 paylines and you can bet up to 4 coins on each payline. The вЂBowler Hat Man’ symbol is wild. There are two bonus features when playing Mystery at the Mansion. r example, 5 wilds will pay x 300 total bet, 5 scatters will pay 400 x total bet and x 3 total bet. And after all there is nothing unique or really interesting, but it is should be interesting to play all this game one after one, that's why i starting my A-Z challenge playing netent games, check out my thread here on forum, probably you will be also interested in it, more people watching on me - more fun we all will take. I play this game not so many, probably one hour at all, and have some experience to say. First of all, bonus game is terrible. Idea is interesting, we should find murderer and weapon and motive for the killing, but this game never pay, best win is 20x total bet, what a shame netent, you really thought somewhere in the past that such thing can entertain someone? with payouts like 10 euro win with 2 euro bet? i am sure no. Free spins drop around once per 100 spins, and i think i never waited more than 150 spins, and this is great speed of receiving feature. Game can pay nice wins, even more than 1000 x total bet in free spins, but chances for this is something like get 5 wilds in free spins playing break da bank again slot from microgaming.
Medium variance game, with bad and stupid bonus game, but this game can pay in free spins in very rare occasions. It can be great, if not this bonus game.I of course will not play this game again, no way.
Not only the crime theme they both share and the similar name, but the Netent game even spins similar like this Rival game, the features it has look common too.
There is a bonus game, which starts if you get at least 3 bonus symbols from left to right. I had a few times when they weren't next together and then I didn't get a bonus round. In the bonus round you'll have to guess which of the characters is guilty in a crime, which weapon it used and for what reason. I got this bonus many times but I didn't get more than 4x bet win in any of them.
The most important feature in this game are the free spins. If you get 3 scatters, you'll play 10 spins with 3x multiplier (that happened to me a couple of times), if 4 scatters - 20 free games and 5 scatters give 30 free spins. Those last two I haven't experienced. And as in most games, there is a wild symbol too which substitutes for all wins except bonus and scatters.
I started to play 250 spins at Kroon casino, with the minimum bets of 0.25€ and within them I got few bonus rounds with not even 10x bet wins, and twice 10 free spins. At least the free spins paid decent, once it was a 16€ win but second time 9€. After that I doubled my bets in which I got 2 more bonus rounds and three times the minimum free spins so overall with this game I made a profit of 40€. Not much but not bad either.
However, never on big sized bets since I would only play this game when my budget was lower than 50 euros.
I tend to stick to older slots when my bankroll is dying or when my bankroll is very small. Apparently the theme of Mystery at the Mansion is inspired by stories related to Sherlock Holmes. The goal is to solve mysterious murders which have taken place at the mansion.
Mystery at the Mansion takes this investigation all the way up to the bonus game. Yes, you read that correctly! Not only are there free spins to be won, but there is also a very entertaining bonus game. The bonus symbol should appear on a payline on reels 1, 2 and 3 or more. That's when the bonus game starts. There are also wilds (man with the mustache) and scatter symbols of course.
Before I forget to mention, Mystery at the Mansion has 5 reels and 25 paylines. The minimum bet is 25 cents basically if you're using all paylines. I played this game at 50 cent bets on average. The base game usually awards many fractional wins. Nothing too impressive, apart from a few 20x bet sized wins.
When you trigger the bonus game, you have to answer a few questions to solve a murder case. Like who killed the colonel? What the murder weapon was, and eventually what the motive was. For each guess you win a prize. The price is higher of the guess is correct. On average this bonus game awarded like 4-5x bet size for me. Kind of a disappointing since it's a fun bonus game.
Last but not least if you hit 3, 4 or 5 scatters, you trigger 10, 20 or 30 free spins. I triggered the free spins only twice in my life. Luckily there is a 3x multiplier attached to this game. My experiences with the free spins so far have been moderate since I won 20 euros and like 35 euros with them. Not too bad for a 50 cent bet size.
Overall rating for Mystery at the Mansion is 7.5/10
You will find much of that in it's bonus game so be ready to find out the killer, the murder weapon and what their motives were.
What I like to do is play for $0.75. I don't feel that taking things higher makes any more sense than it does with 3 coins. Sounds like it does but for me it doesn't. $0.75 is my star bet for Mystery of the Mansion. I like the Wild Detectives, they shine a spotlight on the word wild along with question marks surrounding the detective. I would feel like that too if I were to investigate or feel frightened if the killer is nearby (gasping for air). In my $0.75 bets there were a bunch of small wins however when wilds appear they improve the circumstances especially when there are more than one! There's nothing special in these wilds rather than the dramatic noise it makes when hit so don't worry about it.
On a more dramatic talk, the scattered mansions are what got me to laugh! Imao the dramatic music while nearing the end....clouding the moon and cueing lightning....Ha, what an awesome idea! Some of my wins had like $3 or less and the wild ∧ scatter symbols on one spin remixed there tunes giving this interesting harmonizing conclusion to my spin. A nice "Who did this!?" with "sounds of lightning". It was weird and it works! In the bonus game, it can be complex because they are left to right scatter symbols. When the colonel symbols hit, they show him screaming in the dark and showing him lying dead in his own blood. This is where I pick a suspect to award a win, the object posing as the murder weapon and why the killer killed.....was it for money or for love? At the end the results will be tallied and any picks that were true will each receive a 2x multiplier to be used on the total win. My total is strictly $1.95. I got the killer right as the butler and the motive correct but I missed the murder weapon to get a full 6x. It was the dagger dug into the letter but I chose the candle holders. Only $7.80 was won from my efforts.
The Free spins is a nice way to make up for the bonus however because it gave up $25.78 for my $0.75 triggering bet. The next trigger I had after my 10 free spins ended had only $15.15 for me. I guess the more I win the lower wins it gives in the future. A very nice slot to play on as well as a way to cheer up with. Everything like the tunes for when I win something or wild/scatter symbols are a laughing matter, I liked it alot, so dramatic, gloomy and weird! Mystery at the Mansion gets an 8.8 out of 10! Dun dun DUNNNNN (screams at the dead body)!
I was a bit disappointed with this game. The look of the game wasn't the best, the payouts were decent but I just saw too many similarities in this game (even in bonus rounds and their symbols) and even though that comparing this game with Rival's Moonlight Mystery it is much better, I thought that this game was a little boring and I don't think I will play it again soon.
