I think the whole look is very correct and I like the Caribbean background music but I’m not sure this type of melody was the perfect choice for this game. The symbols are the common ones what we’re used to at similar subject like pirate flag, compass, telescope, candyman (guys, where’s the parrot?) and with their graphics they’re not hanging out of line. There’s nothing outstanding in the slot’s look but good enough to not be a shortcoming of the game.

We can find here too the usual, average game qualities of an everyday SkillOnNet product – the bonus point system that I’m not a fan of it, the limited features and the often happening but poor paying winnings. The Pirate Hat symbol is the most paying one and can reward up to 5000 times of line bet. Scatters can activate 5, 10 or 20 free games but just like the Wild, they can’t add any multiplier value to wins so basically we get here only the minimal level features.

The Treasure Hunt Bonus game requires 1000 collected bonus points to be triggered which can be got by 100 points every time when a Treasure Chest figure land on the reels. If we have enough of these bonus credits we can get to the secondary scene where have to navigate our ship from island to island where we predict the stolen treasures are hidden until a pirate land is chosen what ends the game. This side game has 3 levels to go through and every level has bigger prizes but don’t be shocked if after the successfully completed stages the final won amount won’t be what you expected. I had such runs several times but my rewards were never more than 10-15 times of my stake in best case.

It seems this will always be my biggest problem with SkillOnNet products – the poor payouts of bonus games. As I see it, this segment of the game must have big potential and must make me believe to it’s worth to wait for it and worth to playing further until I get there but in this platform usually it’s just a disappointment. I believe if SkillOnNet improve their bonus rules and the winnable amounts there, their products would be more favoured by gamblers, but that’s just my personal thought.

So the Pirates Treasure Hunt is a typical ordinary, 20-payline slot game and there’s really nothing argument - pro or contra - to what a player should or shouldn’t play with it. For me, what I like in this game I don’t like that much to be an everyday player here and what I dislike in it, it’s not enough to say ‘I never return here again’ so I know from time to time I will pop up and spend some time with it if I’ll have an opportunity but just because of this slot I wouldn’t deposit in any casino.

This is an exciting game and it has all the necessary elements that a video slot game should have. The wild symbol is the gun and it substitutes for all the other symbols. I found it very surprising but this symbol appears quite often. For that reason most of the spins are paying something. Not much but at least you do not have an empty spin.

I was always getting 5 free games, like in any other game the smallest number of free spins. So, for 3 scatters you get 5 free spins, for 4 scatters you get 10 free spins and for 5 scatters you get 20 free spins. I do not think that even if I have gotten 20 free spins in this game it would have changed my situation. The potential is very weak. The payouts are lame during the free spins, the most that I have got was 10 x bet and that was it.
