I tend to give these my preference though, and the same goes for The Finer Reels of Life.

In my opinion it's another classic from Microgaming. It comes close to perfection, and has many features and a big potential to make it worth the effort. The format is the same compared to Immortal Romance, Thunderstuck II and Battlestar Galactica.

It has a progression bar with features which needs to be unlocked once you've reached free spins mode. In addition it also contains a random wild feature where champagne bottles get popped, and with every pop a new reel turns wild. This means you potentially can reach a huge payout.

The minimum bet on The Finer Reels of Life is €0.30, but I usually played this game with bets around €1.20 and €1.50. The base game features wilds which double your payout. As the name of this slot suggests, this game is all about the luxurious life. This gets reflected through the used symbols like diamonds, champagne bottles, cigars, wine etc.

The bonus stars are the scatters in this game. You need 3, 4 or 5 to get to the free spins feature. During base game the 5 diamonds can really get you a huge payout if there are some wilds as well. I managed to win 200x bet size a couple times thanks to this.

The random wild feature hasn't been too successful for me yet unfortunately. I never got further than 3 reels being turned into a wild. I managed to get a 5oak, but only with the most useless symbols in the form a 9-card value.

There are 4 different features you can choose once you've completed the progression bar. The number of free spins differs. The first feature is called the Coffee & Chocolate feature which awards you 10 free spins and a 5x multiplier.

I never won much during this feature, my best win didn't exceed 50x betsize. The second feature is probably the best feature available in this game. The Wine & Cheese feature gives you 15 free spins and contains a Wild Wine symbol on reel 3. If it lands there it can spread across symbols on multiple reels. My best win with this feature has been around 150x bet size I believe.

I've seen some lucky people winning 4,000 betsize with this feature though. The third feature and fourth feature award respectively 20 and 25 free spins, and they are called Whiskey and Cigars feature and the Champagne and Diamonds feature.

The Whiskey and Cigars feature contains a burning wild desire which turns a symbol wild during a winning combination and attached a wild to it. This feature has not been too good for me. The Champagne and Diamonds feature contains rolling reels every time you manage to have a winning combination, but also an increasing multiplier all the way up to 5x. My best win here was 250x bet size.

I'm still missing the super BIG WIN, for the amount of time I've played this game. However, small big wins also add up of course. Overall a nice game I will keep continue to play.

It's just like the Thunderstruck II Hall of spins or the Immortal Romance Saga where each feature earns a tab that will contribute to newer free spins round that change the way they pay!

The starting feature for The Finer Reels of Life is the 5x multiplying Coffee and Chocolate. Boy, does that ring well for me....for a coffee lover! It is always this wonderful Free spins that has given me many credits! For 10 Free spins at 5x for my 3 coin bets my best ever win was $160+! This is one of the best features because it can retrigger again unlike the other bunch! You will find these same free spins on Ambers Free spins on Immortal Romance and Valkyrie feature on Thunderstruck II too! I find that the other features (not including the 10 Free spins at 5x) are just glamorously entertaining but even triggering the Wine & cheese hasn't been too productive compared to the Coffee and Chocolate.

The Wine and Cheese feature is like Sarah's Wild Vine feature so I wasn't into it much. Landing the Bubbly Wild Wine symbol on the 3rd reel gives out random symbols turning wild! The Animations were cool but what I love hitting on FRoL is the Wild Celebration. Think of this as the equal to Battlestar Galactica's Ion Storm, Immortal Romance's Wild Desire and Thunderstruck II's Wild Storm! I receive usually about 2 reels going wild but I like that they given me 3 reels to turn wild. I don't know if having 4 or 5 reels turned wild but I will like to see that some day...if i'm lucky!! The appearance goes to the 2nd & 3rd reel. Other times it's the first 2 reels.

The music really describes this moment and I love the way it finishes, that they added a vinyl record scratching at the end! I've only been disappointed a bit but I will still look forward to playing FRoL for a long time!

This game is very similar to immortal romance and thunderstruck II, of course this is not exact clone, this games have some differences like reel layouts or number of features, or name of features, but generally they are all the same.

As a player who a loyal to immortal romance and thunderstruck II i am of course try this game, and found that i am happy. Yeah, this is strange, microgaming did not create anything new, but i still happy, because i am a bit tired of IR and thunderstruck, and such fresh slot is more than welcome by me. Best hit on this game is poor, x 200 total bet during wild celebration feature, but i hope my great wins on this game is still in future. Like at almost any microgaming 243 line games, variance is high, but when i say variance is high no one should fear, because it is just means that a lot of dead spins come, but wins is much more bigger, which is great.

Conclusion: Very similar to best microgaming 243 ways games, but new layout is nice, and it is interesting to play this game. For people who annoyed by popular games from microgaming, there is something new , or something the same, but with new layout. I like this game, 8 stars goes to the finer reels of life. Of course it is a bit shame, to make just clone with new layout, but i like it, and hope in future microgaming will do something like this, because i will happy to play as many immortal romance clones, as it comes.

The bonuses in this game are exactly same and you need to get them five times to proceed to the next feature. It starts of with ten free spins and ends with 25 spins. I don't play this game much that is why i am stuck on the third level. Out of all levels my favorite one is the first one. It awards you with ten free spins and 5x. The reason why i like this feature is because it has a high multiplier and it can be re-triggered. MY usual bet on this game is €0.60 and the biggest i won this game was around €50. I think this is a good win, and i think this game can pay much more. There is also a wild celebration feature and that is activated randomly. I like this feature because it turns reels wild. Once i got three reels wild the first, second and forth and that paid to over €90.

Over all the graphics are really good and the sound effects are really cool.i would recommend this game everybody because it is really interesting and it could pay big. for me personally it is not as good as thunderstruck 2 or immortal romance, but it is still pretty cool. If i was to rate this game i would give it 7 out of 10.

I like its crimson, brown colour domination and its graphics are wonderful – smooth and velvety – that gives a very elegant look to the product. All of the components that it uses at images, symbols reflect that mood very well like a glass of champagne, a cup of coffee, candles, chocolate, whisky and cigar and they’re all suitable to this theme. I think this is the slot where we can really speak about an Atmosphere and fortunately we can do that with very positive meanings. Fantastic work!

The slot is a 243 ‘ways-to-win’ type product and offers lot of great options for features. At game like this where there are not real paylines or just players can’t monitor them because of the lot of variations of winning combination, that’s the best and worst at the same time that we never really know what arrangement of symbols can pay so really every spin has the ability to surprise us.

The special name-giving symbol is the substitute figure and also the best paying one with 1500 coins but of course at this game it doesn’t mean much, but what does is the awesome features. I mean here basically the only the extra the Free Spins. More than 2 Bonus Star figures on the reels activate an awesome free spin feature where player can choose from 4 options, but no matter what is picked all have great qualities. It can be 10 free spins while all wins have x5 multiplier value attached, the Wine & Cheese feature gives 15 spins when Champagne symbol turns others into Wilds, Whiskey & Cigars offers 20 free games with randomly selected multiplier value from x2-x6 and the last one the Champagne & Diamonds that have 25 spins in its pocket with Rolling Reels mini feature. Maybe the Wine & Cheese is the less paying among them but the other are superb.

My personal favourite and this is I always select is the Whiskey & Cigars – despite I hate whiskey – because once I had a real great session with it. On a spin I had 10 special symbols on the reels (Wilds and Multipliers) and for my $1.50 total bet this spin made me happy with a cumulative 9700 coins that was worth around $480. It was one the remarkable memory that is worth to play slot games. Anyway, maybe some players can find this side game is very slow, little boring as the Burning Wild does it job but if someone want any action or real excitement, a fatal mistake was when opened this game.

For me this slot is one of the best at Microgaming. I very like every little detail here and if a gun would be at my head I still couldn’t mention any weaknesses of the game. I often come to TFRoL when I’m that mood of relaxing and in need some tranquility and even if I lose here some money it’s always a pleasure to play here. I really admire how this slot can create a little oasis of peace and it always deserves to return to this game. A top-notch game - nothing else to say.

is slot is very same as Immortal romance and Thunderstruck II, but unfortunately this is the most unluckiest 243 lines slot game at Microgaming for me.

I tried this slot about 5 times, and did not have any luck. I realize that such slots can eat money very easy, but both Immortal romance and Thunderstruck II usually pay something and keep me playing, but Finer reels of life always eats money and nothing else. Also interesting thing that I did not unlock second bonus feature at this slot, all my freespins features I played first bonus, it is 10 freespins with x 5 multiplier. My best hit during main game at this slot is 10$ for 0.30 spin, sounds not bad, but after so many spins that I did it is sounds absolutely bad.

Best freespins feature is a bit better, around 20$ at same bet amount. But it is very hard to get here bonus games, because 3 scatters just not want come in same time. I lost about 100$ at this slot at different game times, and I of course do not want to continue such bad luck, and if I want to try 243 line game, luckily I had good choice of slots.

In short, I did not like this slot. It looks good and very similar to popular 243 line slot games, but for me it is totally different. But I am of course sure that someone has another experience with this slot. Be sure to not bet high, or very fast you will have zero on account.

also possible to have several of these diamond symbols in view when catching a wild on each reel as well, compare this to Thunderstruck2 where only K/Q/J type symbols are ever visible on a reel which has a wild in view, and you can immediately see that this game has far greater potential in the base game and many of the features.

Speaking of the works much the same as the other two games. To begin with you have just a 10 free spins with 5x multiplier feature available, but after subsequent triggers you will eventually unlock four different free spin modes including a "Wild Vine"/"Wild Magic" style feature, the rolling reels, and another that is equivalent of the vampire bats/odins birds. As I said earlier then, it is very much a clone of TS2/IM, there is no difference with any of these features as was found in Playboy.

This extends also to the "Wild Celebration" feature, which functions identically to "Wild Storm"/"Wild Desire" - nevertheless,I am certain that you have a much better chance of receiving 3 or more wilds in this game compared to Thunderstruck2, which only seems to give out 2 maximum 999 times out of 1000.

I was truly shocked, and very disappointed, to see just how much of a re-badging it actually is.

This is really just the same game as “Immortal Romance” albeit with a different style of graphics. Almost everything is the same, from the randomly triggered “Wild Celebration” (AKA “Wild Desire”) to the “Finer Features” area which is opened after hitting three or more scatters, which offers four choices which are identical in function to those offered by “Immortal Romance”.

I really don’t see the point in doing stuff like this, unless the idea was to create a slot to appeal to posh folk, on the assumption such people would not be interested in a game themed after American vampire movie trash (I can’t be the only one who thought “Immortal Romance” was a very thinly veiled ripoff of “The Twilight Saga” surely can I???)

I also notice that the payouts seem a little worse in this game – looking at the paytable it seems that the top symbols have been given slightly higher payouts, whilst those at the bottom end have been tightened up a little – Immortal Romance was already a very high variance game, and this can only serve to make The Finer Reels of Life even more so – I do quite like this, as I am a big fan of high variance slots, although it does make me laugh that they copy the entire concept of their earlier successful game and make these ridiculously small changes, swap out the graphics, and call it there latest big release. It’s just lazy in my opinion.

Still, Immortal Romance was a great game, and so of course TFROL is also a great game. I would probably even say I’d prefer to play this game over it’s older cousin, but nevertheless, I would desperately love to see Microgaming start using some of the ingenuity and innovation in their slot machine designs that NetEnt continue to offer – MG definitely have the edge when it comes to the paytables, and it would just be amazing to see them come out with some truly inventive and original slot games right now. Heres hoping!

Over these 20 years they have launched over 300 or maybe even 400 slot games. I think that I have tried most of them so far but because there are so many I am sure there are a few more I haven't tried out. I don't think that this game is new but I tried it first just a few months ago. Like many other games offered by Microgaming I tried this one also on one of the Microgaming slot tournaments. As usual after some success there I decided to try it out as a single game.

This slot game has an elegant tone into it. All of the symbols here remind of the easy life an luxury. Here you will find symbols with champagne, chocolate, diamonds, expensive whiskey or vine. Luxury everywhere. But can you have some big wins here to afford to have the luxury you see around? Off course you can because like any other game with 243 paylines this one can pay out good from time to time. I am saying this from personal experience because I had some incredible wins on this slot game.

The first time I played it single I remember I played on a 0.60 bet. Very soon I got the free spins bonus. I was hoping for some descent wins from these free spins. But what I got exceeded my expectations. From the free spins I cashed in over 450 euros. 450 euros on only a 0.60 bet. That is over 500 x bet win and it is one of my biggest wins in Microgaming casinos ever. Later on I had a few more big wins here and this game is currently one of my favorite from Microgaming.

usual in games of MG, this slot has more than enough bet levels that adapt to wallet of any player and each of its special features are arguably quite pleasant. The first of these features is the wild symbol, which works as substitute for standard symbols and also doubles the value of earnings, something plausible and I love this on a wild symbol. Wild Celebration is another nice feature that is triggered randomly and it turns some (or all as specified in the paytable) reels into wild reels, and the image of 5 bottles of champagne that appear at the bottom of the slot seem quite appropriate to celebrate. Finally, The Finer Features are the jewel in this game and it is triggered by the occurrence of 3 or more scatters with the image of a golden star and the most exciting thing is that they are 4 different figures to be unlocked as you're triggering new bonus rounds and they are: coffee & chocolate, wine & cheese, whiskey and cigars, and champagne & diamonds, each with a different number of free spins, different multipliers and different rules, perfect for all players who like challenges and to release some adrenaline while manage to overcome them, and it’s better not to talk more about these features to not ruin the surprise of new players at this video slot.

As for me, I was very pleased in every aspect with The Finer Reels of Life, from the winning average and payouts to the ability to make me have fun; I just hope you do not miss it and hope you like it too.

John Blackbeard

The main theme is velvet red trimmed with gold and a beautifully candle lit background which I found nice and its no shock that the high paying symbols in this game are represented by the finer things in life such as Champagne, Cigars, Wine and of course Diamonds but you wouldn't want to be too thirsty cause these logos did not make a massive amount of appearances in my time spent on this game. I did manage to accumulate a good number of wins on the lower paying symbols in this game which kept the balance ticking over but it wasn't until I managed to start getting the bonus stars on my reels that I started to hit some really nice wins. The bonus stars unlock entry into The Finer Features and multiple entries into this unlocks further bonus games which paid me nicely but the biggest win that I managed to achieve in playing this game was when the randomly triggered "Wild Celebration" feature kicked off and five champagne bottles appeared on my screen under the reels, four of these bottles popped their corks which turned the reel above it wild and landed myself a whopping €120!

All in all this game is packed with good paying features and I couldn't find a single aspect of this game to complain about and so I have to give it a rating of 10/10 and I just hope that this game never slows down because it is my new comfort slot.

se game here does not contain stacked wilds. Unfortunately here is wilds do not have any multiplier, and it is a bit sucks, I do not like when wilds work like this, without anything special.

During base game there is special wild feature - wild celebration. This is same feature as wild desire and wild storm, but wild celebration feature is more kind for me, probably chances to get more wilds here is better, but I got 3 wild reels two times at this game, and of course i played this game much less than immortal romance and thunderstruck II. Two 3 reelers paid me both times something like 200x total bet, or 300x total bets. It is awesome feeling of such great win and 3 wilds reels, but it is always left me thinking, what if 4, what if 5, ah, this is just sad, I am always want more.

Freespins features are same as thunderstruck II, same 4 different bonus rounds, my favorite one is first one, 10 freespins with x 5 multiplier. Fast, straight, and can give great wins.

Overall this game deserves a better look by me, I realize this right now. I am recently unlucky at immortal romance and TS II, so probably it would be good idea to change slot and try the fine reels of life slot. But I like this slot, and have nothing against it. It is same game as TS II, every feature is same, but i still like it, perfect.

ourse, a full line of the diamonds will certainly have the opposite effect ;)

There is a “Wild Celebration” feature which is the equivalent of the “Wild Storm” or “Wild Desire” that appears in Thunderstruck2 and Immortal Romance respectively, in my experience you have a similar chance of achieving 3 (or more) reels in this game than you do in Immortal Romance, as compared to Thunderstruck2 where anything over two reels is basically considered to be almost a myth! If your after a four reels wild win, definitely play this one (or Immortal Romance).

eese, wine, champagne. Quite all great things which I love. Sounds also good, I like it.

I like payouts in this game. It is 243 lines game, but payouts still decent for best paying symbols. Wilds not stacked in this game but double wins, which is great.

I like wild celebration feature. It is triggered by random only in normal play. Then in bottom of reels appear bottles of champagne, and if bottle opens - this reel will be wild. I once opened three reels, this is my best result. Paid me about 200 bets, symbols was not perfect unfortunately, but still good enough.

I like freespins feature. It has different names, but in general it is still same as in immortal romance and thunderstruck II. And you need to unlock it all to get. For this you need to trigger freespins at least 15 times. My favorite is second one, wine and cheese I believe; when on reel 3 appears wild it could make extra symbols wild.

My best win was 200 bets during wild celebration feature which I described above. During normal play I had couple of 50x, and also I had couple of 100 wins during freespins (different features). I rate this game with 9 stars. Just for those who will like the theme fully will be awesome pick.

free spins at x5, 15 free spins with wild wine feature, 20 free spins with burning wilds feature and 25 free spins with rolling reels feature. So it is very similar to Immortal Romance video game with all this features. And to unlock the second feature and so on, you need to receive at least 5 times free spins.

I like this game very much because it could provide great wins. The base game has also decent wins. There are also one more feature which all players like. The wild celebration feature. This can strike randomly turning up to 5 reels wild. My best results was when I received two wild reels and the winnings was around 30€ on 0,6€ bet. I like this more than wild desire feature at Immortal Romance. Maybe because it has set better graphics during it and it gives me better feeling while I was playing it.

Otherwise this is nice game, it could provide decent wins during base game. It has big potential at free spins feature and also on randomly wild reels feature. I think I will play this game even in the future, because I like to know that I play the game which could surprise me with good, big winnings. I will rate it with 9 stars.

It turns one reel into wild so you get better chance to hit some winning combinations and you can reach huge payouts. It can turn all five reels wild, but let`s be honest that almost never happens. I managed to get some five of a kind combinations during this feature but never with the strong symbols though.

This is maybe one of the greatest Microgaming video slots. To me it is perfect. I play this slot very often because it is very similar to my other favourite slot Immortal Romance. It offers features that need to be unlocked. I always play this game with 0.90 euros bet. I know that this game can offer some colossal wins but also it can take all your money in no time.

You have to choose between 10 free spins with x 5 multiplier, 15 free spins with a wild wine feature, 20 free spins with burning wild feature and 25 free spins with rolling reels feature. The first feature is called Coffee and Chocolate and I cannot say that I have won a lot during this feature. The most that I have won was 50 x bet size. The second feature is called Wine and Cheese and the most that I have got from this feature was 200 x bet size. The Whiskey and Cigars feature is quite interesting but I never got more than x 3 multiplier from the burning wilds. And I do not know the Champagne and Diamonds feature because I still have not reached that one. But I believe I will soon because I spend so much time playing this game.

All I need is a good and healthy life, without any of the sickness of greed and wealth, which at one point in my life, were there, but has now gone for good. The finer reels of life, on the other hand, means having a good game to play, and this is what this game is all about. Nope, it isn't a new game, but it is a clone of other Microgaming games, such as Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck II and Avalon II, to name a few, but not in chronological order of course. I don't really know which game came out first, but what the heck, it matters none to me anyway.

The logo 'The Finer Reels of Life' is the Wild symbol, paying a very low 50x the total bet amount for 5 of them, but is still a dumb Wild symbol because it doesn't double any wins with it, it doesn't become stacked or expanded, and only substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter symbol. The Golden Star is the Scatter symbol, paying a very nice 250x the total bet for 5 of them, and getting 3 or more Star symbols award entry into the Finer Features, whereby there are 4 stages of Free Spins games to be played and completed sequentially, very similar as in the game of Immortal Romance. As for the other symbols in the game, the Diamond pays 25x, the Glasses pay 16.6x, the Cigar pays 13.3x, and the rest pay from 10x to 1x, all per total bet amount for 5 of each kind. A fairly good paytable for a 243-ways to win game, although the lower symbol values are a little bit on the low side.

The 4 different stages and modes of the Free Spins games are: Coffee & Chocolate, the first stage, upon the first trigger of the Free Spins game, awarding 10 free spins with all wins multiplied by 5x, and more free spins can be retriggered, similar to Amber's game; Wine & Cheese, the second stage, upon the 5th trigger, awarding 15 free spins with Wild Wine Feature, transforming random symbols into Wilds, similar to Sarah's game; Whisky & Cigar, the third stage, upon the 10th trigger, awarding 20 free spins with Burning Wilds Feature, transforming random symbols into 2x and 3x multipliers, similar to Troy's game; and lastly, Champagne & Diamonds, the fourth stage, upon the 15th trigger, awarding 25 free spins with Rolling Reels Feature, with increasing multipliers of 2x up to 5x, similar to Michael's game. Similar concepts as in Immortal Romance Free Spins games, but with different number of free spins awarded for each mode.

Fans of Microgaming games will have no problems at all in adapting to this game. Playing this Finer Reels of Life game would be a breeze, but never in terms of winning from it though. That is a totally different matter altogether. The 4 modes of Free Spins games are very interesting aspects of The Finer Reels of Life, with its different ways of providing good wins, and one of the 4 modes should become your own personal favourite. I have no doubt about that. Mine is the 25 free spins with the Rolling Reels feature.

Not to forget, in the base game, there is also that randomly awarded Wild Celebration feature, whereby up to 5 Wild Reels can be awarded, providing the maximum possible win of up to $90,000, or 12,000x the total bet amount! This is the dream win for every player playing this game, as it is mine too. I have played it on numerous occasions, but have yet to get any huge wins from it. Nothing above 100x my bet amount as yet, and I certainly need lots more play on this game to achieve those huge wins, maybe even that elusive 5 Wild Reels win. Hehehe.

When the Wine and Cheese feature turns a Wild with 2x multiplier into a wild with no multiplier, and when symbols get turned wild which have no additional value.

I just thought of something! What does "linger" a negative on video slots like these is that I can't literally carry my progress of my well earned features to another casino! For example I earned up to the Whisky & Cigars feature in one casino so when I changed to another Microgaming casino it will all have to be earned up again! Too bad right? That idea would be awesome just to not work hard every time for every feature available!

Overall, it's a great game - but zero marks for originality. Microgaming have milked this formula to death now, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who won't be in any way excited to see another of these games any time soon.

Nothing to list here, what I can to thumbs down here?

It’s a nice way of keeping people playing the game initially but once you have unlocked all the features, it can end up being extremely infuriating if and when casinos happen to “lose” your data, resulting in you having to play through the whole thing until you reach 20+ features once again.

The only thing for me that I would like to see is randomly selected free spins features. Because I don't play the game so long. I never reached to the last two free spin features, most of the time the reason is also because I lost the money and I ended at zero balance.
