Toki Time was simplistic in every way, but quite nicely presented in rendered 3D, although the 3D characteristics weren't really that apparent. In Tokidoki, everything has been set in the old usual 2D rendition, for better or for worse, but is still quite appealing to look at. Maybe all cartoon games do that to me, I really don't know, but I do like playing such games.

Tokidoki Lucky Town plays in a different way, I must say, playing a little bit like Robin Hood's Shifting Riches, whereby a win shifts the reels one step to the right, and keeps on shifting with every win, till it goes off the end reel on the right. In Tokidoki, the reels are shifted the other way around, from right to left, but only continues on shifting for as long as the special 'Spinning Reel' symbol remains on the reels. This symbol only appears on reel 5 in the base game and may randomly disappear at any time during the Revealed Reel respin. But that is as far as the similarities go. Special symbols appearing on that Revealed Reel on reel 5 would activate its corresponding special feature game, and there are 5 of them, each awarding either Random Wilds, a random Multiplier of 2x - 15x, Expanding Wild Reels, a Pick-and-win game, or a Symbol Upgrade game, whereby all matching symbols are transformed into Wilds. Very interesting and innovative features these.

The Black & White symbol is the Wild symbol, which pays 500x the line bet for 5 of them. On reel 3 only, an Extra Wild may appear, in yellow & black, doubling all wins with it. This is the 2x Wild symbol. The regular Wild comes Stacked only on reel 4, and all other Wilds would appear singularly on the reels. The other symbols in the game pay from 300x the line bet down to 40x the line bet, for 5 of each kind. Sadly to say, all the values are very low, except for that 15x multiplier in one of the 5 feature games. So that's where the big wins can come from, even though getting 5 Wilds with that 15x multiplier would only pay 187.5x the total bet amount. Low by any standard, so this is yet another game that cannot pay out nice big wins.

Being a medium volatility game has its advantages of course, in the sense that most players would and could enjoy the playing game, as I had found out too. Forget about getting or chasing for those big wins, just focus on the Spinning Reel and its 5 special feature games, and you'll have lots of fun playing Tokidoki Lucky Town. My plays have seen payouts as low as 2x my total bet, and averagely high as 49x my total bet. Much higher wins are possible, no doubt, just need to play more on this exciting new game from IGT. The maximum possible win from any one of the 5 feature games may not be high, possibly around the 250x total bet mark, so don't ever go chasing for that non-existing goose. Hehehe.

Tokidoki Lucky Town is a 5 reels and 40 pay lines video slot game. The first time I started playing the game I got some re spins thanks to the Reel Reveal feature. I got the arrow scatter symbol on the fifth reel and all the reels shifted to the left and I won 13 euros. Then I triggered the Random Wild feature and I got 3 wilds and a win of 60 euros. Carmella sprinkles between 1 and 3 wild symbols on the reels. I felt like all the times I was activating a different feature, but these two were the ones that I was activating on regular basis. The game at first seems complicated because of the variety of features and me trying to figure out how I activated them, but once you start playing you learn the drill.

The highest amount that I have won was when I got stacked wilds on the fourth reel and I won 60 euros in one spin only. Other times the wins were smaller but they were coming on regular basis.
