Well I honestly saw that something is behind the mystic oyster symbol, bonus, Pearl Hunter. Let's say something about the symbols, not something waw, for sure, just regular symbols, not much creative, average, but ok. The sounds, that remind me of the ocean, water, open sea is the sound I really and badly need right now. The wild symbol is the captain.

So I played until my balance hit zero and no, I wouldn’t deposit just to play this game, there are many more games left out there, I just need to find the proper bonus. Now after I claimed a ND bonus and I can not withdraw because the casino has weird TC I can try out some games that we have on the AskGamblers list and like now, first to review and hope to see guys commenting. Such a calming effect that I almost fell asleep during the spins, only the low balance was waking me up from that chill out atmosphere. Even the shark which I named Sharkey, not the type of shark looking mad, this one is a happy one, just non of them gave me something to remember. For the design of great reef slot I must say positive things because animations are good it just lacks more nicer background music. Paying symbols besides standard card symbols are turtle, starfish sharky symbol, wild that substitutes other symbols is a captain symbol and scatter symbol is Oyster.

When you get 3 scatter oysters on reels bonus feature called pearl hunter activates. You are rewarded with 8 free spins and x 2 multiplier. Then you get to choose two more oysters from five offered and if you find the right ones you can get up to 33 free spins and a x 6 multiplier. The highest amount of free spins i won was 23 and x 3 multiplier which brought me around 50 euros profit with 1.25 bet per spin. Not too bad but bonus feature was hard to get for me and that is main reason I would pick dolphin reef slot over grand reef any time. Besides this feature grand reef slot offers gamble option on all wins you have. It is classic black or red card color pick but I did not use it because it can be very addictive.

The Captain in this slot is the wild symbol, which he multiplies all the symbols on the reels, except the oysters, which are the scatter symbols, although catching 3 sharks on the first 3 reel together with the Captain feature, then your balance will really boost, well that depend on what bet you are playing it.

I wish that day I was playing with 1.25 euros per bet, just because I was playing with free chip, which needed to be wagered. After the seventh spins I got 4 line Sharks on the first 4th reels and 2 Captains or 2 wilds, which my balance reached around 450 euros, wow that was great win. After maybe 50 spins I couldn’t get not 1 oyster on the reels when suddenly I triggered 3 of them, which gave me 15 free spins. From the first free spins I only got around 10 euros, but when I got another 15 free spins and that was really short time after the first ones, so they gave me another 240 euros.

Altough I've started to play this game very recently, I already love it. The design looks really cute, there are ocean themed symbols, and a wild symbol that looks like a pirate and substitutes for all symbols except scatters. My favorite symbol is Sharky, it always comes up stacked and has the highest value, and whenever I have 3 reels covered with Sharky symbols, I get a "mega win" of about 25x bet.

In my opinion the best part of this game is the free spins round. In my experience it is really hard to trigger it, sometimes I trigger it only once within my session of about 500 spins, but I think it can pay off. When you get 3 symbols anywhere, you'll have to pick two oysters, and they can give extra spins and multipliers. At the beginning you have 8 free spins 2x multiplier, and the best part is all oysters have some value. My best achievement on this game has been 23 free spins with 5x multiplier, they resulted with 80x bet winning, just because half of the spins were empty, if I had some winnings with sharky symbols, I think the winnings would have been awesome.

OverallI think I've found my new favorite game from Topgame software. The design is really nice, it makes me smile and is positive. The payouts are decent, on main game I don't think you can get some huge winnings, while I think it's possible on free spins, especially if you get nice multiplier amount. This game is a great fit for wagering purposes, because so far I haven't lost a penny on it, I have even increased my balance a bit, so I definitely recommend to give it a try.
