Straight away, I knew that getting any decent win on this Imperial game would be damn tedious, typical of all Jackpot games.

Also unlike Gonzo’s Quest, this game is oriental-themed, so the symbols in play are of the usual oriental kind – lantern, ingot, coin, bamboo and fish. Getting 3 non-paying Lantern Scatters awards 10 Free Falls, but without any Win Multiplier (argh!). Each 3/4/5-symbols winning combination are collected as 3/4/5 Jewels, which would then be played in a separate following feature, whereby these Jewels would drop down and be eaten by Fishes. Any Jackpot Fish that manages to eat 3 same Jewels would award its corresponding Jackpot Prize, starting from 100 Euros upwards (the top 3 prizes are progressive pools).

Having said that, some may like or love jackpot games, but I found this Imperial Riches game to be damn slow and blardy boring! There isn’t any way to quicken the spins, or to stop the spinning, so you just have to bear the agony of the slow spinning/stopping reels. I am a very patient man, but I simply couldn’t stand the agony! Hahaha.

Okay, to be fair to this game, I have only played one session on it so far, but chances of me playing it again sometime later would be absolutely none! Yep, nothing could draw me to play Imperial Riches one more time. It’s not only slow and boring, I also found the general payouts to be sickening to me, even those from the Free Falls feature games! This game reminds me of another horrible NetEnt game – Temple Of Nudges.
