Victory, the name of the ship, is the Wild symbol, which doesn’t pay for itself but quadruples (4 x) any wins with it. The Flag is the Scatter symbol, paying 100 x total bet for 5-of-its-kind, and the Admiral is the highest paying symbol at 10000 x the line bet. A mixture of good and low win values in the paytable. 1 star down.

There is only a free spins game, as expected, triggered by 3 or more Flag Scatter symbols, or by 2 or more Flags and a Wild symbol (the Wild symbol also substitute for the Flag), awarding 12, 20 or 50 free spins accordingly to the number of scatters. Nothing more, so 1 star down.

Playing Victory was fun and entertaining. The Ship Wild symbol pays 4 x for any win it creates, and this makes quite a lot of difference to the payouts. The free spins are generally good too, coming quite often, and doesn’t seem to be spaced so far apart. Getting frequent free spins is indeed one aspect that increases the entertainment value of any game, in contrast to waiting for long periods of time to get the free spins feature game. Nobody likes to see spins after spins of no payouts, which would make any game become dull and boring. A free spins game start with 12 spins if triggered by 3 scatters, and most of the free spins that I’ve had were paying out reasonably well, usually around 30 x to 40 x total bet amount. The more wins with the Wild symbol, the higher the accumulated winning per free spins game. Nonetheless, it’s such a pity that the Wild symbol doesn’t expand at all, otherwise, much better payouts can be won, and more frequently too. I don’t know why but I really can’t find the visualization of this game impressive and find just the typical and sometimes not high quality RTG solutions. It seems as if not enough work would have put into this project and the appearance doesn’t impress me at all. The symbols are also not the best looking ones and they have just very average qualities as they try to symbolize cannons, flags, ships and soldiers. I think the theme really gives some pictorial possibilities and potential what RTG just missed out substantially reducing the pictorial effects as well as the overall playing experience.

The game segment of this 20-payline slot also shows average qualities and a not too complicated game features and game rules. The own Jackpot of the game (I mean besides the Progressive Jackpot which almost every RTG’s product offers) so the best prize of the game is 10000 coins if 5 Captain symbols appears on an active payline and the illustration of Warship is the Wild of the game which only can replace other icons in a winning combination without multiplying that win or having own paying ability. Sadly, this symbol only can work on the 3 inner reels which just add another thing to its limited functions.

The British Flag pictogram serves the game as Scatter and after paying its prize (3, 10 or 100 times of total bet) it also awards 12, 20 or even 50 free games. During that session every win with a Wild symbol is worth 4 times more than it would do in base game and otherwise every win there are multiplied by 2. This feature can be re-triggered which fact also can be just a very common attribute but at this game it really works and I think I can say I got here the most re-spin series among the games I’ve ever played.

Even though I haven’t been fortunate enough to get 50 free spins yet and the initial 20 spins also come hard but getting the most frequently 3 Scatters-12 spins pairing also could have been profitable at times. Almost every time when I spend here continually at least 30-40 minutes playing this game I always got at least one extended free spin feature and even if not every one of them are great paying but there’s an example how this side game could be very generous. My most memorable session came when I got a normal free spin feature and around the fourth or fifth spin I got a 5 of a kind win with Aces with 2 Wilds and this line win was worth $100 because I played with just $1 total bet and I was nearly at the end of the session when another 3 Flags appeared and the 12 spins sequence is started again. About the half of the newly given free games were went away when 5 Cannon symbol pop up on the screen in V-shape (unfortunately a Wild wasn’t involved in that win) and at very end of my bonus games I gladly could notice that my balance increased with roughly $350. Perhaps, it’s needless to say that it was just a one-time wonder because since then I couldn’t get closer that won amount and the average payout of this segment of the game is around $15-$45.

Victory slot is among the games what I can’t consider more than an ordinary video slot product despite the fact that I had a nice winning with it. Sometimes the game seems to me a very characterless slot with not possessing the ability to keep me excited while I’m playing. The slot has no real shortcoming and as my example shows it really can be open-handed at times but I miss here the real enjoyment factor and maybe an interesting traditional bonus secondary game would change this feeling but lately very rare times I play here more than 10-15 minutes because I just feel I get bored after a quarter hour and I think we all agree this never can be a real good slot’s criteria.

Five of these symbols on one active line pay 10,000 x line bet. So, Victory has the potential to pay well but for some reason is not my favorite RTG game.

I remember that once I had some decent wins here and that playing with a bet of € 5 per spin. I usually do not play with such a big bet, but then I had on the balance more than 1000 euros and I was still far from reaching the wagering requirements. The last time I played here was at Intertops Casino, a few days ago and also I had a few decent wins bigger than 50 x bet.
