At least other payouts not so bad, and best other symbol 5 of a kind will pay 100 x total bet on the base game, i get it once even in free spins at Aladdin's gold casino, and in free spins payout was x 300, since all wins during it is tripled.

Free spins should be triggered by 3+ scatters, but this scatters should appear from left to right, i am not very like this kind of things, because it is simply sick when you get scatters on reels 2 3 4 5 and get no payout. 3 scatters give 5 free spins only, 4 scatters give 15, and 5 scatters give 25 free spins. All prizes during free spins is tripled, and good to know that during free spins on reels added more scatters and wilds, but my best payout was something like x 340, and that was because of one lucky 5 of a kind, and of course this happens very rare. So, is Derby Dollars any good? Well, to start off, as usual, the graphics isn’t much. It’s another RTG oldie, so 1 star down.

5 Wilds that pay 3333 x the line bet? Wow, that’s not a lot, but better than none, like some others which do not have any win value at all. 5 Scatters that pay 50 x the total bet? Wow, that’s awfully low – half of the very low, a quarter of the low, a tenth of the best. The other symbols? You can make a guess. 2 stars down, nothing more, nothing less.

What about the free spins feature then? Honestly speaking, the free spins feature game is much better designed, although not up with the best. All you need is to get two Scatter symbols, which is the Gold Coin, anywhere on reels 1 and 2, and 5 free spins are awarded. Get 3, 4 or 5 Gold Coins and you’ll get 10, 15 or 25 free spins. All wins are tripled. Now that’s much better! 1 star down.

is is an older slot game so the graphic is nothing much. The sound is ok but it can be a lot better. I can't say that I’m a big fan of this game. I have played it about dozen of times in various RTG casinos and I can remember only two times when something happened worth remembering. I can't tell you how frustrated I was when I saw 4 scatter symbols on the screen and absolutely no win. Scatters everywhere except on reel 2. Simply very disappointing. I had a descent win of about 30 x bet from those free spins.

Later on as I played the game I saw that the scatters would come on every reel and very rarely on reel 2. I just can't believe that there is no win for 4 scattered symbols anywhere on the reels. I played here for about half an hour and changed the game. The second time I remember playing this game was in Grande Vegas playing on my own deposit without a bonus. I started playing also on a 0.40 bet and got 5 free spins very fast. I managed to re trigger the feature for an extra 10 free spins and had a good payout of about 150 x bet.

Overall my opinions about this game are divided. It can have a good payout but I just hate the fact that scatters don’t pay anywhere on the reels.

We see here a very typical RTG design and graphics work and I guess if we put this product in front of players, 9 out of 10 would recognize in a blink of an eye what developer made this game. I think none of us would label this appearance as an ugly, terrible one but also nobody would rave about how beautiful it looks like. Again, this is a real RTG product where the graphics are average and the symbols are decent as they illustrate horses, jockeys, cups, binoculars but there’s really nothing special in it.

If I accused of the appearance being of average I must commit the same crime with the game segment however I find some things here that they would be even a little bit better than the mentioned normative quality level. The nice Horse emblem is the Wild of the game with only substituting function and it also can give out the best prize by a 5 of a kind win which is 3333 coins. The Golden Horse coin is the Scatter which can reward us up to 50 times of total bet and also triggers free spins but fortunately at this game it’s enough if just two such symbols appear starting from the leftmost reel to give 5 extra games. Obviously, the more Golden Horse on the screen means more free spins are awarded up to 25 free games. The wins are tripled during this session where really noticeably that more Wilds pop up and that’s why it is a respectable side game. I think all of my success on this slot happened during free games so this is a really wished side game to be triggered.
