Slot Description

The slot from the PlayTech developer with the incredible name Thrill Seekers is one of the brightest, most colorful and really fun slot machines. Despite the name, which translates as “Thrill seekers,” the online slot is not made in frightening tones at all. And the mechanics of the game are more likely victorious than losing.

PlayTech Thrill Seekers slot description

The main characters of Thrill Seekers go to amusement park. Therefore, instead of symbols with card denominations, PlayTech used in the slot an image of sweets, attractions and the characters themselves. And the background behind the playing field is animated and creates a feeling of constant movement.

Bets at Thrill Seekers are made using tokens, which can be purchased at a floating value from $ 0.1 to $ 10. A machine can be set up with a maximum of 10 positions, but on any number of lines - at least all 50.

By the way, so many paylines are one of the main features of the Thrill Seekers slot. After all, each of them gives the player another opportunity to hit the jackpot. More lines - more chances to win.

When creating the game, PlayTech came up with an interesting functionality: two buttons in the central part of the screen, which with one click can activate +1 or +5 paylines on the back.

Symbols in the PlayTech Thrill Seekers slot

All game pictures are made in a fun, colorful style and evoke a little mood from American amusement parks. Among the symbols there are traditional sweets: popcorn, soda, ice cream, lollipop. All that families buy during leisure time.

There are special characters in Thrill Seekers:

Bonus in the form of an attraction "Hammer". If, as a result of a spin, 3 or more bonus symbols appear on the active line, a game called Hammer is launched. It is also made in the spirit of amusement parks: a clown with a large hammer appears on the screen, who is trying to knock out an extra prize.
As you can see, the Thrill Seekers slot fully matches its name. By playing it, you can really get a thrill!

Thrill Seekers: unusual jackpots in the slot from PlayTech

The Thrill Seekers jackpot is hit when 5 wild Symbols fall. Recall that this is an image of a clown. All 5 should be on the active line. If luck smiles at you, you get 10,000 tokens. Wild is the most expensive symbol in the creation of PlayTech.

There is a progressive jackpot in Searchers. Information about it is located at the top left of the screen. By activating this mode, the player will be able to bet in dollars. The program will offer a choice of 49 numbers, and you need to guess up to 5 of them.

The prize can be obtained for one guessed number. With the correct indication of 4 of them, the player receives 1% of the progressive jackpot. And the whole amount - if you can guess 5 digits.

It is like when you are surrounded and besieged by hundreds of new sensations and you do not know where to look first or what sensations to experience first. So in terms of its theme, its graphics and even of the background music the slot “Thrill Seekers” is excellent.

Unfortunately this is about where all the quality of this slot stops, because in what it concerns the thrill brought about by the actual spins little can be said. Although the slot has 50 paylines and 4 reels and although I played 2 times here, every time I went into steady loss. Maybe not much, it is true (probably the slot has the announced RTP on its page at AskGamblers, which means that for each 100 Pounds gambled the losses are about 5-10 Pounds), but what is important is that you will definitely lose. I knew that in Playtech casinos occasionally with a bit of luck one can win.

Overall, when playing at the minimum bet of 50 penny/50 lines, all the 8 symbols (5 minor and 3 major) pay less than the total bet (for 3 same symbols). Although the slot has 50 lines, it has also 4 lines (instead of just 3) and because of this, the number of 50 paylines is relatively reduced compared with its complexity. The only nice aspect here is that it rains with Wilds, Bonuses and Scatters. And because of this at least the Bonus Game is triggered relatively easily (about once every 10-30 spins there is a Bonus). A clown must hit a ball that will rise to touch a bell and will assign a random payout . In 50 % of cases the payout is less than the total bet. To tell about Free Spins their number is always 10. Like in the Bonus game the wins from Free spins are average.

As I said, the game itself is quite missing the thrill and unfortunately it is far from the quality of the other slots found in a Playtech casino. I am sorry to say but this is maybe the weakest slot in Playtech.

How unfair can this slot be?

Having my bets fed into this video slot for less than 45 minutes and already I find something terrible about it! The free spins however are slightly better so it's fair at best but regardless I have not ever won over $10 , $20 or even $50! Not double digits result from Thrill Seekers ever! I don't know how to express my hate further towards this video slot but I would absolutely never recommend this to anyone who enjoys slots, they will be crushed at how badly Thrill Seekers would pay out! Luckily I was only at a point where I fed this machine no more than $20 to keep me entertained. I learned to be smart and just simply walk away from this abomination!

If you can think of your worst video slot experience, you would automatically feel awful when you step into Thrill Seekers. The only good news is payouts in the normal game are FAR better than the Thrill Seekers, "very fascinating, high paying" bonus sarcastically speaking. In terms of this slot measuring up to the other Playtech slots it doesn't need to be because this is Pandora's Box or the Black Hole of slots!!! Now I'm not too curious to open this again or ever because it's one of those slots that just takes up space for other valuable slots. It is the brick wall, the obstacle that follows and appears in front of my way...another excuse to lose my funds!!!

Poor bonus payouts, fair wins in the main game, a normal 10 Free spins feature doubled and definitely no "Thrills" in the slot that I "seeked" which is Thrill Seekers! A very poor 2 out of 10!!!

Personally, I find that everything has been overly done in giving colours to the background and symbols, so much so that anyone taking a first look would automatically go "oh gawd...!" But lets not judge a game by its colours! :D

Thrill Seekers is a 50-paylines 5-reels game with a fun-fair theme, complete with joy rides and a rollercoaster. The opening screen is pretty nicely done, colourful and lively, showing kids having a fun ride on a rollercoaster. What comes after that is another picture altogether. Although looking very nice initially, those symbols on the reels all look similar and not distinguishable enough between one and the other. With the exception of the Bonus symbol, which shows an orange-coloured hammer with bright yellow 'BONUS' wording, all other symbols tend to blend into one another, creating a rather confusing overall look. The wild symbol, showing a colourful clown, which is expected, has the word 'WILD' in a light shade of pink, which doesn't stand out at all from the other symbols, which shouldn't be the case. The wild symbol is one of the most important symbol in any game and should be made distinctly recognisable at an instant. In Thrill Seekers, the wild symbol gets lost in the crowd of other symbols and wins with the wild are not apparent enough. This is sad, because no one likes having to look hard at the screen all the time, or after each spin searching for wins. It is very very tiring to the eyes and becomes a real turn-off!

Symbols used in the game are represented by fun things, like candy bars, drinks, ice-cream, candy floss and popcorn, whilst the higher paytable symbols use images of a boat-ride, tunnel-ride and rollercoaster-ride, but each and every symbol has got too many colours in them! They should have been more simpler for better effects. At the moment, everything becomes too gaudy! Eeeeyew! Where payouts are concerned, the wild has the usual 10,000x line bet for 5-of-a-kind and the scatter has 200x total bet for 5-of-a-kind. So far so good. However, the other symbols are not so better strung, starting with 50x line bet for 5-of-a-kind of the candy bars to 500x line bet for the rollercoaster-ride. Getting 3 or more bonus symbols on any payline triggers a Bonus game, whereby you get the clown to hit the button, see the hammer rises and hit the bell and a cash prize is awarded. Prizes are randomly awarded, either 40%, 80% or 120% of the total bet. Not a lot at all, disappointing most of the time, but the bonus rounds do come quite often. Still, the prizes are never big enough for any satisfactory wins! The scatter symbol is a funfair ticket, 3 or more of which anywhere on the reels trigger 10 free spins with a 2x multiplier. More free spins can be won with every 3 or more scatters appearing in the free spins. But, the 10 spins and the 2x win multiplier are just not sufficient for any substantial wins, unless you so happened to get 5 wilds on any payline.

In play, the frequent bonus game awards were interesting at first, but the repeatedly low payouts soon brought in boredom and dissatisfaction. Free spins are hard to get, and those 10 spins with 2x multiplier do not deliver most of the time too, making for yet another disappointment. Well, Thrill Seekers in the beginning, turning into I'm Getting Sick-ers soon after! You'd be very lucky if you can enjoy playing this game! :(

Special symbols are the attraction ticket scatter that once triggered grants 10 free spins and during this round all winnings are doubled, the clown wild one works as a substitute and bonus icon triggers a bonus round where you must play hammer hitting game machine to win your prize.

So far, I never could find a game with a similar theme that has seemed really good to me and this one does not seem to be the exception. Thrill Seeker is not only very simple, but the betting levels are too high and winning average is not very good, including the bonus rounds are triggered often pretend not seem sufficient to make a profit in this game. The best of the special features here can be free spins rounds, and I have to recognize their potential to generate profits is pretty good since in Thrill Seeker can happen winnings during most of spins, but usually with prizes relatively small, but in this round awards are paid double and your bet per spin is free. I needed to say this to rescue something positive about this game, although everyone knows the most of slots have free spins and how pretty they can be.

During the time I was playing, my balance began to gradually decrease spin after spin with small recoveries eventually succeeded thanks to the bonus rounds or more wild symbols strategically placed, but after losing almost 150 credits, and without having increased my bet, they appeared three attraction ticket scatters that triggered a round of 10 free spins that not only recovered all my losses, but ended with gains of 14 credits. Pity that thereafter the feat could not be repeated and my happy ending never happened.

I think I have to say this one is not the funniest and more profitable game than I ever played from Playtech, and I believe I would think a lot before playing it in a real account within one of my favorite casinos.
