The phrase Double Whammy is used when you receive two lots of something good, bad or indifferent. The double wammy feature on this slot is the wild graphic which is capable of doubling or even quadrupling wins when it gets in on the action. Two is often better than one, so the premise of this slots title is promising, as is the 2,500 coin jackpot. ...

Looking for a retro-style slot machine with a little touch of class and sparkle? Double Whammy might be right up your alley with its 3-reels of timelessly traditional slot machine icons and effortlessly straightforward spinning action. The game by Microgaming has only 1 payline, meaning that players will have to make the most of every win that comes along, especially considering that there isn't anything too spectacular in the bonus gameplay department. There is, however, the chance to increase your wins with a simple wild icon that could double or quadruple your prize money. How about that for some wammy to boost your betting balance? ...

Personally, I find these kinds of slots at Microgaming a little bit one schemed, similar structured products but luckily the base conception of designing method is quite good and most of them (just like Double Wammy) is well organized, cleverly architected and easy to use.
So the interface of Double Wammy is very decent just like the used symbols which are the very common ones what a classic product can offer – cherries, bars, seven and diamonds – and if somehow bell icon would have been integrated we can say that every traditional symbol are available here. Creators used lot of powerful colour tints here which is not too common for mini games but fortunately they did it in reasonable manner so this absolutely don’t decrease the overall visual effects and for me more importantly it isn’t getting eye bothering as the play session progresses. All in all, this is a very correct but average pictorial work with no exceptional or terrible qualities, so basically this is a well playable interface for a land based slot imitation.
Personally, I prefer the one or two coin machines for some reasons and only see advantage of 3 coin slots if the grand prize is way more as if less coin would be used as bet but here the difference is not worth mentioning as the Jackpot of the game is 2500 coins (instead of 2400) if the maximum number of coins are placed. Despite of this fact mostly I use it with 3 coins with the minimum coin denomination of $0.25 because it is in my favoured bet range and I noticed the game is relative more rewarding with 3 coin stake, although I still think it’s obvious there’s a lot of room for improvement in this area and the average winning tendency should be higher. I’m saying this despite the name giving emblem is also working as Wild and doubles the values of wins if it completes a winning combination alone but if two Double Wammy icons arrive on the line it quadruples the winning combination. Unfortunately, unlike other similar slots where Wild is built in, this substituting symbol alone on the payline doesn’t replace the less paying Cherry symbol which is not a good thing at all. Anyway, Cherry does that regardless of what reel it landed on and doubles the coin value.
As I’ve said earlier, my biggest problem concerning this slot is the winning tendency. I’m absolutely not satisfied with the appearance frequency of the winning combination and sadly the slot tends to hide them for very long stretches when the player really can feel as if the money is just thrown out of the window. It still remains true if once I had enough luck to hit the Jackpot and won a little bit more than $600 but generally I believe the slot could be considered as a real good game if and only if this ‘problem’ would be fixed in any way and an average play segment would be more varied and entertaining but until then I guess there’s better alternative for classic slot lovers in Microgaming repertoire.

Egypt holds a lot of mysteries, and it's no surprise that several slots developers have adapted these themes for their creations. This Thunderkick's slot has bought into the ancient Egyptian theme, transporting you into the world of pharaohs with five reels and 15 paylines. Here, you'll be taking away from the norm in terms of symbols and visuals as modern characters are introduced to depict how current Egypt could look.
With a scarab wild and a high priestess, this slot could reward you with up to 10,000 coins in a spin. Land wild multipliers of up to 32x and scatter symbols to collect free spins. Let's explore the secrets of Pyramyth slot as you read further.
Enjoying Thunderkick's Pyramyth slot would require knowing every aspect of the game, including its return to player (RTP) and variance. This slot has an RTP of 96.71%, which is slightly above average. Also, it's a high volatility game which means big but less frequent wins. However, the variance could be thrilling if you're a big risk-taker with the right bankroll.
Stake Limits
Pyramyth slot is available to play on desktops, mobiles, and tablets, with stakes ranging from 10c to $100 per spin. The stake limits make the game perfect for low and high rollers alike.
Stunning visuals and an impressive theme song are only some of the many things to enjoy in Pyramyth. Explore the game's four bonus features to set you up for big wins. Below is a glimpse of what the bonus rounds offer:
Wild Multiplier Feature
Whenever your winning combination contains a wild, the multiplier feature is triggered, and your stake is multiplied. If you get as many as five wilds in a spin, you have a 32x multiplier.
Bonus Game
Another amazing aspect of Pyramth slot is the bonus game feature. You trigger this round by landing at least 3 bonus symbols on the same spin. It's possible to get as many as 20 free spins if you land 5 bonus characters.
Sticky Respin feature
The sticky respin bonus game feature is activated when at least three burning sun symbols appear on the grid. This part of the game gives players 10 free spins, and each pay line win triggers the Sticky Respin feature. The winning pay lines will be locked on the grid while the other symbols respin. All winning pay lines will remain locked per spin until there are no more winning lines or until all possible wins on the reel are locked.
Roaming Wilds Feature
Another benefit of the Bonus Game feature is the Roaming Wilds. Here, all wild symbols that appear on the reels will remain throughout the bonus game. However, the wild symbols will roam to different locations before each respin unless they are part of a winning pay line. Players can land as many as 5 roaming wilds.
If you're seeking more thrills from your slot sessions, it'll be a great idea to get acquainted with the paytable and symbols. Thunderkick has divided the paytable into low-value, mid-value, and high-value symbols.
Low-paying tiles are 9-A card symbols, while mid-paying symbols include Egyptian-style dogs, crocodiles, and eagles. The game's lone high-paying symbol is a high priestess. She awards 75 times the stake when she appears on a complete line across the grid.
You can't mention Egypt without Scarabs, and here, they serve a good purpose. As the wild, they substitute for every symbol save the scatter and can grant significant wins.
Here's a view of the paytable's content:
Pyramyth's intriguing subject merges ancient Egypt and science fiction. Since this is a Thunderkick slot game, the graphics are top-notch and look beautiful.
Behind the reels, players will feed their eyes with a modernized Egyptian landscape. Spot the white pyramids, blue skies, and enormous Egyptian god statues on either side of the reels. These reels are also made from gold, making them more appealing
While playing, you'll hear Arabian-style music in the background, which nicely fits this slot game's general concept. The game successfully reflects the standard Egyptian theme in a modern but pleasing manner.
At first glance, the Pyramyth slot looks like the future version of Ancient Egypt, with a 5x3 layout and 15 fixed paylines. Beneath the reels, you'll find a few interactive features. The first is a combination of dots with two sections once you click it. Its first subsection holds the game's rules while the other reveals the paytable.
There are buttons that let you set your bet and how many times the reels should Auto spin. Players can set the auto spin feature at 5 or 5,000, depending on their preferences. You can also decide to turn off the sound or let it play.
If you'd want to test out the features to see how they work, there's a demo mode. Also, since it'd be a free play session, you'll be risking nothing.
Thunderkick has created the Pyramyth slot with a fresh and enhanced twist. We think the graphics are stunning, and gamers will like the game's abundance of bonus features. Another impressive addition is the max win potential of 10000x, paired with the fairly high RTP.
A few players may not be excited about the high variance, though, but it's not exactly a downside considering the winning potential. Overall, we think Thunderkick did a nice job with this release, and it's worth a replay with the right bankroll.
