This Golden Goose Bonus series makes up for those 4 games that don't have any features at all, thereby now offering 4 different Bonus games instead. Everything else remains the same.
Paytable wise, the Indian Girl is the Wild symbol, paying a marvelous 12,000x the line bet for 5 of her, but this Wild doesn't double any win, doesn't do anything else but to substitute for other symbols except for the Scatter symbol. The Scatter symbol pays 400x the total bet staked, which is very good, but doesn't award any Free Spins game as it usually would. The Free Spins game can only come from within one of the Golden Goose Bonus game. The Eagle pays 5000x the line bet, the Tippee pays 2000x, the Fire pays 1000x, whilst the other lower symbols pay from 800x to 80x the line bet for 5 of each kind. This paytable is the best one amongst the 4 games in this series and you can expect much harder times in trying to get nice good wins.
There is one difference that I have noticed when playing any one of these 4 games. Crazy Chameleon and Genie's Gems tend to provide a nicer balance in getting any one of the 4 Bonus games. Totem Treasure tend to get more of the Eggs Bonus games, particularly the Eggs On The Reels game. The Winning Wizards tend to get more of the Instant Egg Prizes. Maybe this is just a coincidence, I don't really know or say, but this is what I have observed in my many plays on each of the games. Which of the 4 Golden Goose Bonus game is best, or at least slightly better, is very hard to say. Each one can pay out decently or poorly, the latter one being more common.
One of the things that I dislike about Totem Treasure is the difficulty in getting the randomly activated Golden Goose Bonus game. They tend to be harder to come by, possibly due to the slightly higher variance of the game, as compared to the other 3 games. Nonetheless, when the payouts are mostly below 10x my stake, with none breaking the 20x mark so far, my interest and enthusiasm simply went down the drain quickly, just like my credit balance did.
