Anyway, I was browsing around in one of my favourite casinos, and found this Mayana game, so I decided to give it a better look. Honestly speaking, I was quite impressed by what I saw - nothing outstanding of course, but impressed nonetheless. I like the graphics, I like the icons, and after looking at the paytable, I decided to give it a try.
Mayana plays with an initial 27 ways to win, with 3 reels and 3 rows. Surprised? Well, I was! The nice thing about it is that with each consecutive win, the number of active boxes increases, from 3 reels 3 rows to 5 reels at the bottom row first. then the middle row, and finally getting all 3 rows with 5 reels. Quite interesting this, and I've never come across anything like it before either. Maybe this is even something new and unique, but I don't know for sure. When all 5 reels and 3 rows have been activated, the game then plays with 243 ways to win, which is good. The only thing that sucks badly, is the paytable! Why Quickspin keeps maintaining these sort of ridiculous paytables I will never know, or understand.
Now here's another interesting, or not interesting feature of this game - it plays without any Wild, Scatter or Bonus symbols! All you get are Mask and animal symbols, with the Red Mask being the highest paying symbol at 6x the total bet for getting 5 of them. The other symbols pay from 3x down to an incredibly low 0.32x the total bet amount for getting any 5 of them. A totally ridiculous and an extremely low paytable, but then again, that's very typical of all Quickspin's games! This is something that I can never like, or accept!
Each win triggers a free Respin, and increases the number of boxes by 2 - from the starting 9 boxes to 11, then to 13, and finally to 15, which then plays and pays with 243 ways to win. There are no Free Spin games, there are no Bonus games - just Respins. Nonetheless, I still find it interesting to play, especially when the game is in a good mood. The random Mucha Mayana feature is very rare, so don't expect something extra ordinary from this game, well that's from my experience, I have tried this slot many times but mostly as free spins given from some casinos, might be good slot but again, I was never big fan of Quickspin provider, I might change my mind if only they would release some normal with high variance slot,which I doubt.
