Saucify's latest installment is lively and more enjoyable than it might seem at first. Lovely to look at, this fun little slot gives out wins quicker than you can count, and offers simple but action packed features. With the help of sharp graphics, you are taken back to medieval times to play with swords and shields and maybe win a few prizes. ...

After the free spins game, I decided to try that $10.89 on another new game instead, hoping maybe my beginner's luck may be fruitful yet again. After looking through the various games available, I finally chose Realms, a 10-paylines game which I don't even know what is all about.

Upon loading up the game and checking through the paytable, I then realised that I have just found another new game that plays like Starburst and Fruit Zen, but with a big difference - Realms has a Free Spins game feature which the other 2 games do not have! Aah! That is just wonderful! With my limited playing bankroll, nothing could be better than playing a 10-paylines game to minimise bets per spin and to maximise my play time.

The Wild symbol does not pay anything for itself, nor does it doubles any wins, but it becomes Expanded Wilds on reels 2 and 4, just like the Wilds in Starburst and Fruit Zen. The only difference here is that there can be only 2 Expanded Wild reels as opposed to 3 reels on the other 2 games. Hmm. 1 missing Expanded Wild reel can make a lot of difference in the payouts, but in this case, the Free Spins game should cover back something for this difference. The Free Spins Scatter symbol, the Swords, does not pay anything as well, except to award 4, 6 or 8 free spins for 3, 4 or 5 of them. This Free Spins game can be retriggered, but the many Free Spins game that I had did not award any so far. Probably not easy to be retriggered I guess, more like Microgaming's rare retriggering of any Free Spins game too.

Realms do not use stars, gems or fruits for their symbols. Instead, various shield shapes are used for the symbols, matching up with the sword symbol of the Scatter. Makes sense that. The symbols pay from 300x the line bet down to 25x the line bet, making the paytable a very low indeed. Hmm. Wish it could be much higher for better payout possibilities.

As I've said a few before this, some games with low paytables can indeed play well, and Realms is one of these games. The very low paytable may not afford big wins, but playing the game proved to be satisfactory, fun, thrilling and exciting. Hmm. That certainly beats my first impression of Realms! I thought it would play as bad as Starburst, or maybe at par with Fruit Zen, but my first ever play on Realms was rather exhilarating, to say the least. With that $10.89 starting bankroll, I played the game as I would play Fruit Zen, and the extended play time that I got from it was really satisfying. My credit balance was going like a yo-yo most of the time, rising up to over $30 at one time, and I was hoping it would go on and on so that I could complete the wagering, but alas, nothing lasts forever. The good spins gradually turned sour and my balance finally went down to zero, but I'm not complaining. Certainly not for this first play on Realms. I need to play it much more often to realise its full potential and this is something I will definitely do next!
