The Silver Bullet mobile slot game isn't bad per say, just not massively interesting. Even 5 scatters only pay 100 times your bet, and the wilds are only useful as substitutes.A game that needs to be put to pasture in favour of more interesting games. If simplicity is what you are after, we'd recommend the Nian Nian You Yu slot which came out at the same time. ...

The Silver Bullet is fabled to be the only weapon known to kill a werewolf and a clutch of other supernatural creatures. The term also relates to the Brothers Grim, and more recently the Lone Ranger and his adventures against evil. He used silver bullets to symbolize the preciousness of life, this slot relates to cowboys and Indians in general. It includes various different cowboy icons combined with wilds scatters and Playtech's supremely popular dollar ball jackpot. ...

Would you like to take a glass of whiskey, then here we go. Whiskey bottle, bomb, revolver, horse, dollar coin, cowboy hat, it’s all here. Get ready for your wild adventure and start spinning right away. Wild symbol which substitute for all symbols is sheriff star badge. This is quite simple game so the features are. In other words if you look for bonus features, you will not find them in this game, because they do not exist in this slot. There is no free spins nor bonus feature. There must be a significant number of featureless video slots but when it comes to Playtech, I can remember only of Highway Kings, which is another interesting slot.

Except for the fact they are ‘no feature’ games the game play seems to be ultra fast. At the moment I decided to give it a try, my balance was around 3 euro and on my minimum bet of only 0,09 euro I boosted my balance with 12 euro win. After some time I increased my bet to 0,45 cent per spin and the best of all was that I ended up playing while losing and wining for one hour. Each time I would either nailed it and make it to 20 euro or more and loosing almost until my balance reach zero. And finally I lost it all. To be honest this is not the most exciting game I come across but I had a lots of fun. Having numerous video slots available, this game isn’t on my list.

It is a game more like "Hi-oh Silver!", or better known as The Lone Ranger...but the hero Ranger has somehow gone M.I.A...that's Missing In Action! Hehehe. He left his trusty horse behind to play its role whilst he himself makes a disappearance for somewhere else. Eh?! Wait a minute...that horse doesn't even look like The Lone Ranger's Silver. It's just another common brown horse! So nothing to do with The Lone Ranger after all.

Anyway, Silver Bullet is a 9-paylines 5-reels slot game, reminiscence of slot games from decades ago! A simple looking game with a simple game play, with none of those free spins or bonus feature games to hunt or look out for. What you see is what you get. Nothing more nothing less. The only difference is that you have to look at it from both left-to-right and right-to-left directions, because this game pays both ways. If you so happened to get two wins on the same payline though, then only the highest win would be paid. There are no alphanumerical symbols being used, except for a number 7, all symbols being images of normal things you would see in those cowboy days. Things like horses, dollar notes, horseshoes, pipes (the tobacco kind), wagon wheels, cowboy hats, liquor bottles, number 7 (probably for Lucky 7), bombs and finally barrels. Cash prizes for 5-of-a-kinds start with 100x the line bet for the horse and up to 500x the line bet for the black bomb. The barrel is the highest paying symbol at 10,000x the line bet, similar to 5 wilds payout in other slot games. In Silver Bullet however, the wild symbol, which is the Sheriff's badge, does not carry any value nor does it double up any wins from it. It merely create wins by substituting for any other symbol, including the scatter symbol, the pistol. 5 scatters pays 100x the total bet.

In play, the game spins and stops very quickly, being just 9 liners. Wins are highlighted with a black boxy outline, making it very easy on the eyes to see the wins. The images on a white reel background are very easy to differentiate too. The game play is not that bad at all. Wins can come easily, either from the left or from the right, but scatters need to be in sequence from either reel 1 or reel 5 to make a win. In fact, it isn't a scatter at all because it is just like any other symbol. Scatters should be paid for appearing anywhere on the reels, not needing to be in sequence. Probably a slip-up by the game designers! Hehehe. Is it possible to get those 5 barrels on a payline? Yes, it is. I have not won it but I have seen others getting it. Overall, Silver Bullet is a playable game, entertaining to a certain extent, until you start yearning for free spins and bonus games. Then it's time to switch over from cowboy days to super heroes days! :D

I don’t see too much beauty in the not too detailed and not too interestingly created hat, horse, whiskey, horse shoes figures and if all symbols are connected to this style why should have built in an orange 7 emblem? I can’t quite understand it. The only thing that I would appreciate is the slot’s decorated design with great wooden elements along the edges of the reels. Otherwise, it doesn’t seem to have the usual Playtech quality so it’s a little disappointment for me.

This 9-line slot like many other products with having less paylines offers a Progressive Jackpot mini side game named Dollar Ball (it’s a lotto-type side game that attached to some games but I don’t really like it so I usually play that games with disabling this feature) but the game’s own Jackpot is 10.000 coins if 5 Barrel of Whiskey symbols land on an active line. The Badger figure is the game’s Wild but unfortunately besides the replacing function it doesn’t add anything to wins. The Gun is the Scatter and has the ability to pay up to 100 times of total bet and … And no and, that’s all the game offers in features.

Perhaps it explains a bit the above mentioned limited qualities and maybe I had to start with it, the game is ‘both ways pay’ type slot meaning the winning combinations are not just counted from the traditional left to right mode but from right to left, too. Of course it remarkably increases the chance for winnings and if a 5 of a kind winning is occurred it automatically pays the doubled prize of what the paytable shows as according to the sense it means one such win from left to right and one from the opposite direction.

Despite of this latter mentioned game rule (by the way, this is a very great attribute) somehow the slot doesn’t show me if it were a real good game. Naturally, because of being about a Playtech slot it’s not the worse game I have ever played but definitely should give much more to consider it a good game. Maybe a little more work at the design phase would have done some miracle with the game. Anyway, I think Playtech can offer other 9-payline slot (if someone insists on exclusively such type of game) that has overall more to give and also has the ability to entertain.
