I think that the only ones who hasn't watched them are the ones with no TV and internet access and our parents with their boring Indian, Turkish and Spanish soap operas. I really enjoyed watching these guys with their everyday schemes and problems.

Anyway I was really surprised when I saw a slot game in Playtech created according to that series. Thank god for that. This game is a 25 line 5 reel slot with some really nice background music and descent graphic for Playtech slots. The symbols are great and they have almost all of the characters from the series. Of course the wild symbol in the game in Tony – kapo di tuti kapo. When I took a look at the paytable for the first time I was astonished by the number of bonuses. This game has 3 cash bonuses. The Stolen goods bonus, Bada Bing and the Raid bonus. The Raid bonus is the one that will come most often but it pays the least. In the other two you can have some descent wins but they come rarely.

This game also has a free spins bonus. With the free spins bonus this game reminds me of Microgaming’s Thor or Immortal Romance because you have to unlock the progress through the free spins modes just like in Microgaming. I have to say that the free spins bonus is difficult to get at least for me and I have never progressed beyond the first level. Even though I like this game a lot I have never had any big wins here and I have played quite a lot and it has eaten a lot of balance. But hey who am I to argue in the end you can’t beat the Mob.

Since The Sopranos was one of my favourite TV-series of all time it’s a sad thing that Playtech pulled out the Netherlands a while ago.
Nevertheless I do cherish the time I have spent while playing this game. All famous characters come back while playing this game, including Big Boss Tony himself, Chris, Paulie, Artie and Bobby. I would have liked to see a symbol reserved for Uncle Junior though in all honesty.
He might have been demented in the end of The Sopranos, but that doesn’t take away that he should have had a spot lol. The game itself features 25 paylines, 5 reels and 3 rows. The amazing thing about The Sopranos video slot is that it has 3 Cash Bonus games and one special Free Spins feature.

So there is a lot to look forward to when playing this game. In addition there are wilds (Tony symbol) and multipliers that can help you increase your wins. The bonus which gets triggered the most is the random “Raid Bonus” which usually awards only 4 x bet size.

The other bonus is the Bada Bing Bonus which happens when you get the corresponding symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. Not an easy task, but it’s a nice value bonus that on average awarded me around 15 - 20 x bet size.

Then you have the Stolen Goods bonus which gets triggered when you hit the container symbols on reels 1 and 5. This bonus gives you three picks and a two times a chance to either keep your prize or choose another container. I remember winning 30 x bet size at most with this feature.

For the best wins you of course need the free spins feature. You need at least 3, 4 or 5 scatters to trigger the free games. I remember that this was incredibly hard to do when playing this game. The free games themselves have a progress bar where you can unlock other features once you fill them up.

I only experienced the Soldier feature with a whopping 25 free games so far. But thanks to extra wilds (Chris symbol) and additional free games that I won, I managed to win 20 x, 100 x and 220 x bet size on 0.50 euro bets when experiencing this feature. Hopefully Playtech gets available in the future again so I can resume my play.

I usually just download it, it would take me less time to download it then to go to the shop and buy it. I live 10 minutes outside the city center and it takes me about six minutes to download a movie:)

The game is good and has a lot to offer. It has reasonable pays and you could win big. But the thing that I don’t like about this game is that it takes ages to payout. The free spins feature is almost impossible to get and the only thing that comes out is the raid bonus. This is probably the worst bonus out there as you can only win 4x max.
I have tried double tapping, raising or lowering the bet; even changing lines and nothing help. I played this game a lot of times and only got the feature once. It was a great feature and actually made me good money, but that was it. I have not seen it after that and I must have got two scatters a million times. The third one never shows up and just destroyed my belief in this game.

There are two more bonuses in this game and they are ok too. There is Bada Bing Bonus and Stolen Goods bonus. Both not easy to get and can pay a small amount. The Stolen Goods bonus is given when you get a container on first and last reel and that is the bonus that I got the most. It is ok bonus and max I won on the smallest bet was around €10.

The Bada Bing bonus is harder to get and paid me a bit more, around €15. The best you can get in this game is free spins but they are super difficult to get. That is why I don’t play this game much and why I am going to give it 5 out of 10.
