For a new 50-paylines game, Alien Spinvasion doesn't look it at all! The graphics used are standard ones, with nothing outstanding or reflecting anything new, the colours used are not vibrant or exciting, so my first impression on the game was like "oh sheesh...this is a new game?" Even stranger still, this 50 paylines game play with a minimum starting bet of $0.30 per spin. Hmmm, that certainly doesn't tally with the play lines, does it?

The Wild symbol, that ugly one-eyed alien monster, pays nothing for itself, it doesn't double any wins with it, it doesn't become stacked or expanded, making it a true blue dumb Wild symbol that only substitutes for other symbols other than the Scatter symbol. It only becomes a Sticky Wild with any winning combination in the base game, awarding 1 Respin for another chance of getting more wins, but doesn't become sticky during the free spins. Sheesh! The Army General is the Scatter symbol, it can only appear on any 1 reel, so absolutely no payout for getting it, except to trigger off 11 free spins. No win multiplier is attached, but more free spins can be retriggered. Hmm, big deal indeed! The Rocket symbol only appears during the free spins and pays 100x the line bet for getting 5 of them. No extra feature is attached to it. Another big deal! As for the other symbols in the game, they pay from 250x down to 9x the line bet for getting 5 of each kind. Yep, that's line bet, not total bet, making the paytable an extremely low one!

As for the Free Spins game, this is probably the worse of its kind! Nothing much to aim for, except for a retrigger from the appearing Army General Scatter symbol, which you don't get to see often either. Add all these to the extremely low paytable, and you get a game that is best avoided! Sorry to say.
