The Mask is the Bonus Scatter symbol, paying 2000x the line bet for 5 of them. Line bet, not total bet. 3 or more of these scatters trigger 10 free spins without any multiplier, but more free spins can be retriggered. Oh gees, another serious let-down for Casanova. I guess Amatic doesn't want to rate him so highly. Too dangerous perhaps. All the Lady symbols pay 500x the line bet, so all of Casanova's ladies have been rated equal, with no special preference, with no special Lady. Other symbols pay from 250x down to 100x the line bet, making the paytable a low one.

Casanova is a very simplistic game that doesn't offer lots of freebies or bonus games, the trend of games from yesteryears. As you can see, the Wild symbol isn’t playing the most important role as it should be in any game, with the Bonus symbols being more important in this case, and doing more too. Also the free spins can be re-triggered by landing another set of 3 or more golden masks on the reels. The most re-triggers I have gotten in Casanova is 7, but still the payout wasn’t what I expected.

The biggest payout in the game is probably for 5 wilds in the bonus round which is basically a full screen of wilds. Don’t know if that is possible and the most I have won is 4 wild reels on the screen. Depending on the symbols you get in between you can win from 80 x bet to over 500 x total bet. Both have happened to me and the biggest disappointment is getting 4 wild reels with a scatter and the weakest symbols.
