Domnitors Slot

Domnitors Deluxe is the remake of the normal Domnitors slot by BGaming. I did not know about this release until I actually participated in a screenshot contest on AskGamblers which was sponsored by BGaming themselves. This is slot I think is based on ancient war between two different clans and I am guessing the all about dominating territory.

e of their slots I've had a great win was Scroll of Adventure that has given me wins worth several hundred my bet so I know the games can be quite volatile.

When it comes to Domnitors Deluxe, it's a quite simple slot with 5 reels and 9 paylines and as a bonus it has free spins bonus round. What I do like about this game are two things: the design and bet sizes. The design is inspired by royalty theme and it brings you to a kingdom where the main symbols are princess and the king. I believe it's their most visually appealing slot I've played.

Second thing I like is the fact that the game is very friendly for lowrollers as the minimum bet you can place is only 0.09 cents.
However when it comes to payouts I have mixed opinions. I've played more than 1000 spins and just once I was able to get a win worth 100x from the free spins bonus round. For 3 scatter symbols you get 15 free spins with 3x multiplier yet the wins are quite low and for the most part I would get 20x-30x bet wins. I do believe that it's possible to get a bigger win if you manage to get a 5oak combination with one of the top symbols or a retrigger but is hasn't been my experience.

Honestly speaking, I do like the win values of the symbols in Domnitors, but after playing many thousands of spins, the 9 paylines shortcomings proved to be very disastrous indeed, eliminating so many winning chances, simply because of the missing winning paylines. 15 paylines would certainly have made a huge difference in the gameplay and game payouts, but I guess BGaming did not have this intention in the first place! Ah well, Domnitors isn't making into my playing list, sad to say.

Honestly speaking, I still cannot like this game, even after playing so many thousands of spins on it, simply because all the payouts were just crumbs and peanuts, literally! Trying to get a simple 100x total bet win was heartbreaking enough, to say the least, but worse of all, the best win I could achieve was only 255x. In other games, I would certainly have gotten at least one 500x win from all that spins - so this says a lot about how Domnitors Deluxe plays and pays!

Just as with the original Domnitors game, the most prominent drawback is its 9 paylines. The paytable and the win values of the symbols are actually good enough to provide and produce good wins, but during actual play, a lot of good winning chances would fall on non-paying paylines instead - and that really sucks all the time! What I got was disappointment after disappointment, most of the time, and with that, I don't think I would want to play Domnitors Deluxe ever again!

Free spins wins are all tripled and when a wild win occur, the winning combination is multiplied x6. Sounds good right?

Don’t get your hopes up. First of all, the frustration I had while playing this slot and the fact that I mostly lost my balance was not at all good, but all I kept thinking about was the 1000 euro prize pool and to win 500 euro would be extremely great. I guess that’s what got me through the tournament, or should I say motivation.

The base game pays okay and win often occur, but can at times take a very cold streak as well. I think the biggest thing is that the bonus can take sometimes 100 spins to trigger however 90% of the time 500 – 1000 spins or maybe more to trigger. The worst of it, is that the bonus pays on average 95% of the time between 10 – 50 your total bet, sometimes even a big fat zero even though it took a 1000 spins to trigger. This was the most upsetting part, but I pushed through.

In the end I won about 250 euro on second place in the tournament. I must admit I gave this slot close to maybe 20 000 or 30 000 spins and the best win was x174 my stake. Imagine that, I guess within 1000 spins in Moon princess or any other provider I would have beaten x174 during a feature. I gotten used to their slots now and know what to expect. I would recommend you try BGaming other slots as they trigger much more quicker than this one.

All in all, I do believe that this is an average slot. For me the gameplay isn't that exciting as it's difficult to get a good base game win and overall there's just not much to look forward to, in my opinion, as the free spins feature is very generic. However, if I had a very small balance and only Bgaming games to choose from, this would make it in my list, otherwise if you haven't played it before, I don't think you're missing out.
