It’s not necessarily a big problem as we’re speaking of a traditional machine where the pictorial creativity is limited and anyway I prefer playing with an average looking slot than with a product where the creators wanted to do too much and eventually just ruined the overall visual experience. Maybe Fortune Cookie got a little bit more powerful colours which are not dark toned so using the game for extended period of time maybe requires a little fine tuning in the monitor setting to reduce the bothering effects of the vivid blue and purple and the cherry, bars, 7’s symbols supplemented with the main Fortune Cookie emblem are not too nice but playable and maybe there was nothing wilfulness in it but the Bars look to me as if they got a little Asian style decoration which in itself isn’t bad but at this game really doesn’t matter because can’t give anything to the overall big picture. So this is a classic Microgaming’s displaying work and I guess everyone can recognize it in a heartbeat who ever has played even just one of them.

Why I thought I still want to tell my opinion about this slot is because of the experience gained lately after getting a little success on it. Not a long time ago when I played at a Microgaming casino I just jumped from game to game and I felt at none of the games that I must have been stayed when finally arrived to Fortune Cookie. I’d lie if I say I liked too much what the slot gave me in visual area but thought it didn’t hurt too much spinning some rounds so set my bet at $0.50 (using one coin) and started playing. After a handful of minutes I was ready to leave it alone as nothing happened what would have forced me to stay when the winning combinations started to appear on the payline and it seemed that luck is turned. I got single bar and cherry wins when suddenly two 7’s arrived on the first two reels and the last one was the Fortune Cookie emblem and I was about to complaining why the third one couldn’t have been a 7 when realized that I won $100 and really didn’t know why so I thought that was the time to take a closer look at the paytable and game rules.

This is a 3-reel, 1-payline slot where the Jackpot is 1600 coins if the maximum number of coins were used as bets and of course 3 Fortune Cookies can provide this grand prize but what I didn’t know was that this symbol is also working for the game as Wild and when it’s substituting for other symbols it doubles the won amount and when 2 such symbols do the same, the winning is multiplied by x4 and we can even expect a little return if this name giving pictograms arrives to the reel without being a part of a winning combination and then it acts as the less rewarding symbol, Cherry and doubles the stake.

So after getting know the facts I kept playing but after another 15 mins. I had to leave and needless to say that I was happy about my little success and felt that it was a really good session but not exploring the full capacity of the game so I decided to return here for a longer run. Some days later I returned but this time I started playing with 3 coins going for the 1600 coins but after a half an hour playtime I reduced my bet because the slot just didn’t give what my introductory session promised. Some time later I started to doubt that my previous session was just a one-time wonder when the same happened as few days ago and I could notice that the winnings were just coming (The slot really love the 3 single bars and a Cherry, Wild combinations because they’re the most frequently occurring combinations and fortunately they are really shown up lot of times) so my gameplay was just getting more interesting when just like once happened another set of 7’s appeared on the reels but this time Wild wasn’t involved on the third reel much more it was the very first symbol in the winning formula so I won a hundred bucks again and later on that day I also could witness as three 7’s formed a pure good line without Wild and I was happy for my session again. Since then I had much shorter, longer runs on this game and totally I got another 2 or 3 times this very same mixed combinations so I can tell this slot really like to give out that wins which a very good thing to know.

Just to speak about the general payout of the game, I think it is very correct and respectable and all of these I guess because of the great, player-friendly game settings. Fortunately this slot can make me believe that good things really can happen here and I consider it as a very important attribute especially if it realizes at occasions. So overall, this machine is a really pleasant surprise for me and proved to be a very reliable gambling partner and even if I’m not a fan how this slot looks like but if it continues to treat me like that I’m sure our relationships will be a long lasting one.
