After that you will see a 25 payline and 5 reel slot with a minimum coin value of $0.01. I had around $12 in my account when i started playing. I had 15 paylines active on minimum coin value of $0.01. A couple spins went in vain with no winnings but a few spins latter i was able to land three treasure book scatter symbol on the reels which activated the bonus round which awarded me 10 free spins with 2X multiplier.

Unlike other slots , you have to manually spin each time in the free spins round also and i was able to win just $1.1 from the first free spin bonus round. The multiplier depends upon the number for scatter symbols you get on the reels, i got three so my was 2X but if you get four or five then your multiplier will be 10X and a massive 25X respectively. I continued playing and was able to strike free spin bonus round again a couple of times which paid me $0.9 and $10.1 respectively but my balance somewhat was same after playing half an hour. The octopus symbol is a wild symbol and serves the usual purpose.

My last real money play on this game was many many years ago, when it was newly released, when still hot from the oven, as they say. But being new, the game had some bugs in it, unfortunately, making the game hang quite a number of times during my plays on it. Hopefully all that has been corrected and put right by now. Nope, I have not played it again since then, not with real money anyway, so I really don't know if those bugs have been exterminated or not. The Octopus is the Wild symbol, 5 of them paying 5000x the line bet, half the usual amount, I must say, the Book is the Scatter symbol, but doesn't pay anything for themselves, damn, not the usual Playtech standard at all, and the Bonus symbols doesn't pay anything too, yet another damn! That isn't all of it. All the other symbols have very low win values attached to them too. The Mini-sub pays 500x, the Diver pays 250x, the Transmitter pays 200x, all in line bet wins, and the rest hardly worth mentioning at all! A very very low paytable indeed, probably the lowest I have seen from any Playtech games!

3 Scatters award 10 free spins with a 2x win multiplier, again only half as much than the usual, 4 Scatters award 10 free spins with a 10x win multiplier, whilst 5 Scatters award 10 free spins with a 25x win multiplier. So there you go! The Scatters themselves don't pay anything, but they reward back with higher win possibilities in the free spins games. Nice to see, but none I've got, sad to say!

This is one of those few 'lemon' games from Playtech. Nothing in the paytable is really good. That 25x win multiplier is no doubt exciting, but getting 5 Scatters to get them is something else! The best possible win is indeed huge, if you can get it, which is getting 5 Wilds on any payline with the 25x win multiplier, for an incredible 125,000x the line bet win. Exactly as what you can get playing the game Blade, but I would rather take my chances with Blade than with Greatest Odyssey, like it or not!
