This was my first time playing it and I got mixed reactions at the end of my play session.

From the paytable itself, I could see that the win values of the symbols are very similar with many other games by Pragmatic, with slight differences in the features offered, or by having either the Wild or the Scatter symbol having a small win value – most of the other times, both these two main symbols would be non-paying, which I simply hate! In this game, 5 Wilds would pay 25x the total bet amount, but is still on the very low side. Other symbols would pay even less, from 20x downwards, so big wins of 500x the total bet (or more) may not be possible at all (sorry, but I’m not really interested to do my usual calculations here), unless you happen to get all 20 winning paylines of 5 Wilds, for a 500x win. Sounds impossible to get, right? Yet this game has a high volatility rating of almost 5 Lightnings!

During base game play, you may get a randomly activated Scroll feature – pick one of the three Scrolls to determine the award, either Bonus Free Spins, Hercules Wilds, Pegasus Wilds, or Zeus Mystery symbols. I prefer the Bonus Free Spins any time or all the time, because the other features may give rubbish wins instead!

The free spins can also be won by getting the Bonus, Hercules and Pegasus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5. Hercules Free Spins increases the Wild symbols, Pegasus Free Spins increases the Multipliers, and getting both symbols would award increasing Wilds and Multipliers, depending on which icon lands on reel 5 during the free spins play. The number of free spins is unlimited, or so it says, but that’s not possible – what it means is that the number of free spins is not defined – it may be very little, or quite a lot. The best I have gotten so far is 63 free spins, so that’s pretty good!

Hercules & Pegasus can be fun to play, but it can also be a dead game! I wouldn’t want to play too much on this game, purely because the paytable is rather poor, no big wins are really possible, and I’m not one to be satisfied with small mediocre wins of less than 50x most of the time. There are better games that I can play.
