The graphics are beautiful and colourful and among the symbols I like the little house at night pictogram better, which is really awesome. Overall, it has the ability to create a pleasant atmosphere what I appreciate and that’s why I always love to play here.

Ahhh...anything with a x3 or more win multiplier goes well in my books, despite the 10 spins. A decorated Christmas tree is the bonus symbol, getting 3 or more of these on any payline would trigger the Christmas Gifts Bonus game. The bonus symbols do not carry any win value, but cash prizes are awarded for each gift that you pick. 3 consecutive bonus symbols on any payline would award 3 picks, up to a maximum of 5 picks. Each gift carries a random cash amount, so luck plays a good role here in picking out the bigger cash prizes. As far as I could detect, the bigger cash prizes would appear in alternating fashion, from one bonus game to the next game. This may not be the case in each and every bonus game, but it could give some level of prediction on which the better bonus game would be.

I've played this game during a few sessions on pretty high bets of €2 per spin, and had a terrible time triggering the features.

Santa Surprise has 20 paylines and 5 reels. The minimum bet is only €0.20 if you apply all paylines available for this game. The slot is well decorated with typical Christmas symbols, and the same goes for the background music. The best paying symbol of course is Santa Claus just like many other slots. It also acts like a wild which replaces other symbols except that of the bonus feature or scatters.

Santa Surprise offers two second-level bonuses to look forward to. The first one is the free spins bonus, which gets triggered if you collect 3 or more houses (scatters). You then receive 10 free spins and a 3x multiplier. I find this number too low, since the free spins are always over soon without achieving some decent winnings.

I believe my best win is only 25x bet size, while others been lower. Either I've been quite unlucky or it's incredibly hard to win big here. Luckily the free spins can be re-triggered but I never achieved that. During base game I did have a couple of good hits though with the cooperation of Santa, where I had a few 80x bet size wins.

The other feature is the bonus. You need to get 3, 4 or 5 bonus symbols in succession starting from reel 1 to trigger the bonus. Once you succeed you have to pick 3, 4 or 5 gifts, depending on the number of consecutive bonus symbols. I never came further than 3, but this bonus is very easy to trigger though.

Maybe that's why the rewards aren't too impressive, since I won 5-7x bet size most of the time. Overall nice graphics, decoration and music, but my wins not so good. They should perhaps add a higher multiplier or spins.

Santa Surprise to me is like playing Easter surprise, they have very close same sound effects and they have exactly the same free spins features of 10 Free spins at 3x multiplier! I believe the same also applies to the nice Christmas Gift bonus.

All this slot has to offer is a complete delight from the very nice wins of 5 of a kind symbols to it's 2 features, to the Christmas themed music placed on the paytable as well as the gamble feature. I better stack up some more hot chocolate because this slot is taking me to a trip up to the icy cold north! If you have ever played Easter Surprise this slot pays exactly the same, frequently in small doses and more importantly the bonus triggers much faster.

The 10 Free spins at 3x can be found under 3 scattered snow topped houses. This feature is very common amongst all slots and I never get past the $40 checkpoint for winnings....it's always below that point! Cheery Christmas theme music, really small but indefinitely winnings, the bonus round needing surgery for better prizes and overall Santa Surprise gets a 7.5 out of 10!

The bad part is that there are required minimum 3 Gifts on the same payline to enter the Bonus. It happens to be simultaneously on reels up to 5-6 gifts but not on the same payline. This is an unpleasant situation. But every time I had to play this Bonus I do not know how it happened that I chose only the presents which had the best payouts.
