The symbols have very low details and are not really attractive. Visually this slot game has nothing much to offer. There are a few more games like this from NetEnt and I can’t say I had some success with them.

The game has 20 paylines and 5 reels. The wild symbol comes on all reels and doubles a win when substituting in a win. The paytable is poor and the highest paying symbol awards a win of 750 coins for 5 of them on a winning payline. The scatter symbol has a great 500 x total bet payout for 5 of them on a winning payline and has the standard 2 x bet for 2 of them on the reels. This comes in handy in the bonus game because 2 scatters pay 6 x bet and you often get 2 or 3 of them.

The scatters trigger the free spins bonus and you need at least 3 of them on the reels. You are awarded with 15 free spins with all prizes tripled. The free spins can also be retriggered and that happens here from time to time.

I guess the theme is quiet popular and I don't really blame them. The minimum bet on Spellcast is 20 cents, but my average bet on this game was 1.40 euro. The symbols consist of wizards, spell books, crystal balls, potions, castles and shiny card symbols.

The wizard symbol is that of a wild and helps you to create winning combinations. The best payout is that for 5 wild symbols, but as you can imagine that's incredibly rare. So you have to chase the castles on a payline.

I notice this slot doesn't have long spells of dead spins, but does reward small prizes very often during base game. My biggest hit during the base game was never higher than 50x bet size though hitting a 5oak. But I can't say I've lost much on this slot either I'd say.

One thing that I’ve done different for sure, I would have changed the colours of numbers and letters. They all got golden colour which is generally not bad but in my opinion with all of them are dressed in the same tint caused the appearance is sometimes very one-dimensional and a little boring.
