e slot proved well enough for wagering because there are constant wins and you can play with bets low as 0.10$ and up to 10$ with the double up option being available which makes you choose between Heads(Golden Spartan helmet) or the Tails(Golden coin where is written "The Golden Owl of Athena" it's nice to see that they even paid attention to such a small details and made it look very nice.
Symbol Owl in the game is used as both scatter and the wild and getting 3 or more of them will award you with free spins 8,12 or 20 after which you will be given special symbol that is chosen randomly and if a significant number of symbol you got appear on the reel, they will expand and cover the entire reel, after playing free spins I got myself x50 which is medium payout but the symbol I received wasn't good enough it all comes down to your luck.

I'm not sure that I recommend this game with the RTP they have, there is too a lot of slots out there that have the similar or exactly same theme as The Golden Owl of Athena and a better RTP, but if you want to enjoy nice graphics because Betsoft does a great job most of the times which they did with this game too, you can give it a try and hopefully luck is gonna be on your side.

Unlike other slot with this setup it triggers fairly easily but pay out are poor 90% of the time during free spins. The game has a free spin feature with extra scatter and you can also buy the feature for around x93 your total stake. Graphics are brilliant in this slot and the sound/track seems right as well. This slot has 5 reels and 10 paylines.

You will also have the chance to see the Olympus Temple, the home of Zeus, the tree of knowledge is there, as well as the helmet, the spear and the cup. Those are all your higher paying symbols, of course there is the playing cards symbols which are your lower paying ones. The Golden Owl act as wild and scatter at the same time.
