I played this game for some time and the most I got were 20 free spins. But I have to say that I was disappointed because the win was only about 30 euros on a 1 euro bet. I expected much more from this feature. After some time I got the bonus when 3 lion symbols appeared on the reels. In this bonus you are a wildlife photographer and you have to take pictures of 4 wild animals. You can choose from 3 locations. Depending on the location you choose you get different animals. I got this bonus lots of times. The good thing is that It comes often. Much more often than the free spins bonus. But just like the free spins win I was also disappointed with the outcome of my photographer work. Only 21 euros win on a 1 euro bet. I have to say that’s under the minimum wage as I remember.

So overall the bonus features in this game come often but the wins from them are just too small. Now the good thing in this game is the expanding wild symbol. It only comes on reel 1 and 5 and stretches to cover the entire reel. Every once in a while if you're lucky you can get both wild symbols on both reels. There you will have a chance for a big win.

Overall I rate this game 7 out of 10.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the last game from Rival I-slot series. It was created about two years ago or little more days. The theme here is Africa and safari. The graphics are very good with great animations and I like the sound effects too. Wild Safari is composed of two parts. Symbols in the first part show all of the equipment that you need for a safari. Of course there is a camera, backpack, mosquito repellent etc.

The wild symbol is a symbol with jeep and appears only on the first and the last reels, but also it extends over the entire reels on which it appears. Furthermore, here you have free spins bonus and classic bonus round. Every time you get to the classic bonus you are coming into a new phase of the game. In the second part of the game, as it is with other I-slots games, the symbols and the rules are changing. Here you have symbols of the animals that you can see on safari, as lion, rhino, elephant etc.

The first time I met with this game, I was impressed with her looks and I enjoyed the game. But, that was expensive cost to me and long time after that I was not returning to this game. But the last time I played it in the Golden Lady Casino, I had a lot of success and some great wins. For about half an hour by playing with a bet of 0.5 - 1 euro I was in a plus of around 100 euros. Wild Safari is one great video slot game and I am sure you will enjoy playing it.

For this game I give 8 stars out of 10.

This Wild Safari from RTG could have been a lot better if the paytable is not typically one of RTG's.

Why, you may ask? Well, in the first place, the Wild, Scatter and Bonus symbols all don't pay a thing for getting them, the Wild is an Expanding Wild symbol but appears only on reels 1 and 5, which can hardly ever produce any decent wins, never mind about good wins. 3 Scatters award only 10 free spins with a 3x multiplier, which should be 15 free spins in order to produce better wins. Even though retriggers are possible, don't hope on getting many of them - getting 1 retrigger may take many free spins games before it comes, but honestly speaking, the payouts are not good at all.

Same can be said of the Bonus game too - poor low payouts most of the time. You're supposed to catch photos of the animals when they appear and you're supposed to center them before snapping a photo, but you can only move the view sideways, so the crocodile would always appear at the bottom of the view. I snapped it nonetheless, got some cash from the shot, but it left me wondering if the payout would have been better if I could lower the view to center the crocodile before snapping a photo. Nonetheless, this bonus game is a boring one indeed!

The highest paying symbol, the Map, pays a nice 200x the total bet, but I could hardly even get any 3 of them in my plays. The other symbols pay from 48x down to 1.2x the total bet for getting any 5 of them, which aren't exciting at all, making for a lacklustre paytable, but still not as low as current newer games.

Instead it chose to deal with more of equipment, supplementary items like knife, bag, clothes, flashlight, jeep and others. I can’t say I’m fond of its interface for many reasons. First, I don’t find the figures too attractive or nicely-drawn but this is my smallest problem here. Unfortunately, they are very oversized causing a wrong crowded-ness effect on the reels and I also think using transparent background picture behind them was also a mistake as the silhouettes of it show through and it that goes to the improper colour usage, too. The brown colour is largely overused and not just most of the symbols got this tint as decoration but the top and bottom side of the game scree are also covered with it. Considering all of these, I think much more could have brought out from the visual effects with better design making ability.

If 5 Map symbols form a good line the Jackpot of the game is won and it’s worth 5000 coins while the Jeep figure as Wild can substitutes for other regular figures if it appears on the first and/or the last reels and greatly it does it in expending format so all three positions on that reel are covered by Wilds. 10, 20 or even nice 70 free spins are awarded if 3, 4 or 5 Plane emblems land anywhere on the reels and while playing that session all wins are tripled.

As we’re used to at Rival product that part of the game is the most exciting in moneywise standpoint. Usually, they have good payout policy and I never noticed that any different game settings attached to it so there’s always a good chance to get the best, most profitable results from this feature. This is the case here, too when the x3 multiplier really can help to achieve this goal and sometimes even pays back more what I’ve expected.

The slot offers a quite good bonus side game that requires 3 camera symbols on the reels in normal games then we have to take some pictures of animals. First, we have to select where we want to take the photos then try to take pictures about as many animals as we can. It requires from player a little skill but it’s no big deal and the game is entertaining.

Overall, I don’t think this slot would be a great game or can offer any high quality features. The normal game is not too good and the features just represent the average Rival quality. For me the many mistakes that the creators made while designed the game are serious enough to not be a frequently returning player here.

Well, as I've said, this game could play and pay better if the paytable had better win values for all the symbols, and I especially hate any game that have non-paying Wild, Scatter and Bonus symbols - they're all a big waste of extra winning chances!
