The slot doesn’t use the traditional 3-row playing scheme instead it chose to expand this numbers to 8 so we can see here a bigger, taller reel area which means more nice symbols become visible at the same time. The Wolves arrive to the screen covering 2 positions on the reel and when 4 or 5 different kinds of animals are on the table, well, that’s really fantastic look. I really like the superb drawn symbols and the unique way how the game looks like and in my opinion IGT really did a great job to design a beautiful game like this.

Because of the unconventional arrangement the slot has maximum 100 paylines to bet on but it gives freedom to players whether they want to use the game with just 1, 8, 25, 50 or 100 lines. The minimum coin denomination is €0.02 so playing the game in full capacity it requires a €2 total bet for a spin. I tried to play the game with a stake like this but I didn’t always feel that evident advantage in reality so I tend to play it with just 50 paylines which also gives great possibilities to win enough if luck is on my side and it fits better to my usual playing style.

The working scheme is very simple here as the game doesn’t offer anything else just Wild, Free Spin feature and Scatter paying opportunity. Wolf Rising is a 5 reels and 100 pay lines video slot game. This game is a bit different from the other online slots because there are 8 rows in the Wolf Rising slot. I also enjoyed the graphics of this slot because there is a snowy backdrop which I think is something that is normal for these creatures in the game.

The main attraction in the Wolf Rising video slot game is the free spins feature. There are 5 free spins which are activated with 3 bonus symbols. The bonus symbols appear only on the second, third and the fourth reel. I know that 5 is not a big number when it comes to the free spins but a great addition during the free spins is that the middle reels turn wild. One would expect huge wins from this feature, but it is a bit different in reality. I managed to activate the free spins couple of times but I never won more than 20 euros. This can be a bit disappointing but it is a fact.

The only thing that I like about this game is that there are regular wins which stretch my bankroll so I can enjoy playing the game for a while in general. There are no colossal wins in this slot but still it is worth playing. If I have to compare the 2 games from IGT I would definitely say that the Wolf Rising is the better one.
