This slot is really good and generous and is similar in many respects with the slots from SkillOnNet. I mean the game is “easy”, and not only you cannot lose too much when the minimum bet is just 15 cents, but also the wins are large and come one after the other.
I often used to say that all Rival slots that I have played so far here are just weak and miserly (and in the top of avarice is “A day at the Derby” with several same other slots). I was used to the pathetic graphics and rare bonuses. And I found something else while playing here. The wins are generally higher than the 15 cents bet. 15 paylines are a little too few and sometimes they “steal” from the possible wins but it is so nice to play one of the two existent bonuses once every 20 - 30 spins. And so pleasant is also to win consistently from these bonuses: the minimum payout is 1.5 Euros, the average win is over 4 Euros and the maximum is money you can win is about 6.5 Euros. That is enough to get to play the next 30 - 40 spins. And so after the first hundred spins my wins increased the money with over 10 Euros. This is a nice sum, considering that at absolutely all other slots where I played I had only losses. And to say again: here there are also quite frequent wins having a much higher value than the bet per spin.
Maybe the graphics are not too great but they are neither pathetic like for the most of other slots from Rival. They resemble a cartoon, drawn a bit in a hurry, but ultimately this game is just a slot with only 15 lines.
About 2 weeks ago I have played a good slot in Rival: “Costume Party”. Maybe after all, these casinos have some good parts. For sure I would love to play this slot also in the future.

The retro feeling immediately can be felt when the game is opened up to play and maybe it’s just me but I would have waited more astronautical related symbol here - and initially really thought it’s a space themed slot - but instead we just play here besides the cosmonautics symbols with lot of foods, tv, car, cash register, ice cream icons too. Though they’re all very characteristic pictograms and really can recall that nostalgic ages but I don’t really think they would be too attractive or possess high quality graphics. Personally, I don’t like the poor design of symbols and somehow also can’t enjoy the atmosphere what the game creates with this pictorial world.
Now, knowing the game I must say that I have some issues with the game segment too. First, even though the 7500 coins are respectable what the slot provides as top rewards of a 5 of a kind win but the next best award just 500 coins and all other symbols have very weak paying abilities. I think there is too much gap between these two highest prizes and generally to employ 6 symbols out of 11 that all have best paying ability equal or less than 250 coins is not a promising thing for players and their balance. This poor rewarding capability sadly really can be felt while playing and that truly can ruin the playing sessions and it’s even true if I consider that this is just a 15-payline product.
Anyway, this best paying UFO symbol is also working for the game as Wild and it’s just replacing others in combination without multiplying the wins but there are two Scatters in this game which have equally qualities and both of them have the ability to trigger The Atomic Age bonus round. In the bonus we’re at a store and have to pick 4 foods and other items and we must do that guessing the values of the selected ones get the closest to $50. In other words, it’s just a simple ‘pick me’ style side game and that’s why the excitement factor is not too high but the average award of this extra is acceptable and sometimes it can be even good.
Sorry to say that but this game can’t really entertain me and to be honest not much things there that I could really love. It just a very, very ordinary Rival product where’s nothing really standout (maybe having two scatters and increasing the chance for bonus round this way is the best I can mention about this product) and with the not too attractive interface and the not well-paying winning combinations this product barely reaches the playable level in my eyes and considering the very limited amusing ability I think we’d better to move on and search for another game which can offer (much) more than we get here.
Obviously they didn’t spend enough attention on the symbols here and also I don’t like the choice of colors neither the final design.
Next, this game offers two simple and unimaginative features about which I will write more a little later. The theme of this game brings us back somewhere in the 50s - 60s of the last century. Most of the symbols represent technological advances at that time so here you have: symbols from satellites, Intercontinental Missile, TV etc., while the second part of the symbols describes the life at that time so there is the symbol of a bottle of Coca Cola, ice cream, cookie etc.
As I already wrote, the bonus features are simple and here you don’t have the free spins feature. The first feature here is called "The Cash Register" and it's a classic pick up bonus where you choose 4 items from the shelves in the store. The second bonus that you can win here is called "The Drive" and here you choose two characters, one male and one female and a movie that the characters will watch in a car at a movie theater on open air. Actually, this bonus also is basically a pick up bonus. Next, The Atomic Age is a simple and inexpensive game which almost does not offer some excitement.
On the other hand, I have no doubt that this game could pay well but the design is so repulsive that I have made a few spins only a couple of times here and I do not remember that I had some decent wins. It is probably because I have never spent more than 10 minutes continuously on this game. As such, The Atomic Age will not get a positive rating from me. 5/10

'Take off your coat, Gambler' is a podcats by Bohdan Lytvyn on all the things gambing. Funny, lately it is mostly about humor as well: you will learn on the latest gambling gossips and also get a weekly (or daily, if you are lucky) portion of humor in our Gambling Stand-up Comedy series.
