Who knows! I don’t have the stats like the management of an online casino does. So I’ll be the first to review this great game. Joy of Six is a video slot from Microgaming with 30-paylines and 5-reels. I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with this game a few times.
The minimum betsize is €0.30 but I played it on €0.60 bets. The great thing about this game is that it really makes you feel you’re right at the casino with friends playing a game of craps with a couple of drinks, while in reality you’re probably in the comfort of your own home. The theme is based on a craps table and I think this game has a great concept with symbols displayed by the craps dealer (scatter), dice (wilds + multiplier), chips, drinks and much more.
The great thing about the dice symbols is that they hold a 2 x multiplier in base game, but things get even better during the free spins. During base game my wins were moderate, but I did manage to hit around 40 or 50 x betsized wins as my peak. The great challenge lies in triggering the free spins with 3, 4 or 5 scatters.
Once you succeed in doing this you get 15 free spins, and then the fun part really starts. Every time a dice appears on the reels, the dealer rolls them to reveal what the result is. Depending on the result your win can be multiplier from 1x all the way up to a 6x multiplier. Overall a nice concept you don’t see often.
My best wins during free spins were over 150 x betsize thanks to one 4 x multiplier and a 5oak combination. I’ll definitely play this game again!
If you keep getting the ones and the twos, better cry your heart out, because the game isn't going to get any better than that. It's an old game from Microgaming, playing with 30 paylines, and yet another clone of In It To Win It and Sovereign Of The Seven Seas. Yep, even from years ago, Microgaming has been keeping up with their cloning and recloning of their games, for more quantity, not for better quality, sad to say. Recognise the same exact card symbols being used in this game too? But of course, this may not be apparent to most players, because the main symbols are different, and the Wild symbols play and pay differently too, but everything else remain basically the same.
The Dice is the Wild symbol, a typically dumb symbol that doesn't pay anything for itself. It doubles all wins with it in the base game, but pays according to the dice number during the free spins, from 1x up to 6x. It substitutes for other symbols except for the Scatter symbol, and doesn't become stacked or expanded with wins. The Lady Dealer is the Scatter symbol, paying 100x the total bet for getting 5 of her, and getting 3 or more of the Scatters trigger 15 free spins, without any multiplier. However, wins with the Wild symbol are multiplied by 6x, and more free spins can be retriggered. No wild symbol means no win multiplier, simple as that. Not really good but bad. The other symbols in the game pay from 20x down to 3.3x the total bet for getting 5 of each kind. The paytable? Yet another very low one.
The payout? A meagre 15x my bet amount, as expected. Personally, I wouldn't know for sure if this game can pay any better, which it should, but I'll never know. Nope, no way would I risk losing more of my money just to find out. It's just not worth it.
