BetOnSoft did a really good job with this one if you ask me. Some elements of the game that appear almost during the entire play are brought to perfection. Also the sound which you hear in the background as you play just makes you enjoy the game. I spent about half an hour playing this slot and enjoyed every minute here.

Rise of Spartans is a really exciting game. From the bonus features you have two. Free spins bonus and a bonus simply called feature. During the half an hour of play here I got the free spins bonus once.This bonus is activated if you get at least 3 symbols with a girl holding a bow and an arrow. Unfortunately I got nothing in these free spins. As far as the other bonus is concerned it is a classic pick up bonus. It is activated if you get at least 3 symbols with the King.

For all the time I spent here I played on a bet of 0.15 euros. I got the feature bonus 3-4 times and cashed in most 8 euros. If there is something I don't like here it is that the reels turn very slow. But that is for almost all games from this software provider. Rise of Spartans is more or less a sequel to Age of Spartans, but looking more of an upgrade to me, with far more astonishing graphics, effects and animations! I must admit, Rise of Spartans isn't all that new, but it can certainly beat other much newer games from NetEnt and such, in terms of astonishing graphics. Boy, have I underestimated Saucify all this while! Hehehe.

Besides the amazing quality of the presentation, I like this 15-paylines game because it can be played with just $0.15 minimum bets, and can also be played from 1 to 15 lines. Most new games don't provide this selectability, which I always find troublesome whenever I am left with not enough balance to make one last spin. All games should have this play line selectability, and I just cannot figure out why they aren't providing it. Better revenue for the game provider perhaps, who knows.

Rise of Spartans has 3 types of Scatters, namely normal Scatters, Feature Game Scatters and Free Spins Scatters. Queen Gorgo, the normal Scatter symbol, pays 200x the total bet for 5 of her, Artemisia. the Free Spins Scatter symbol, pays 80x the total bet for 5 of her, but King Xerxes, the Feature Game Scatter symbol, doesn't pay anything at all. Why? I really don't know. The other two scatters do pay, and so should this one too. The Spartan Warrior is the Wild symbol, 5 of which pays 8000x the line bet, which is pretty good, and doubles any wins with it too, nice! All the other symbols pay from 1000x to 70x the line bet, which are on the low side. Something good, something isn't, always the case! Sigh.

King Xerxes Feature awards a pick and win game, something which I have never really like, and the several number of times I had this feature game, none paid me above 15x my total bet! Sheesh! The Free Spins game awards only 7 free spins, which is way too low, even with that 3x win multiplier. 15 free spins would have been good.
