Whenever I trigger this bonus wheel, I always receive Free spins or an event like Speed Skating! 11 Free spins at 3x are commonly what I get sometimes it's 15 Free spins at 4x. For 11 Free spins at 3x, my total win resulted for $10.65 only...however when it came to 15 Free spins at 4x I received a better sum of $28.80! The Speed Skating round is a choice for me to choose a skater to race for 1st place. This allows for really good credits to be won here. I would pick the skater in blue or the skater in yellow. Luckily I never hit 3rd, 4th or 5th place, only the 2nd and 1st places! $26.25 were my wins for 2nd place but when it becomes my choice to be granted 1st for the correct skater to win gold then my prizes would range somewhere in the $50 areas.

It's hard to pin point what I will get because these bonuses are so random! The other bonus events I haven't gotten but I will stay to see if they are any different then Speed Skating.

On this bet i can monitor my money and also have a chance to win a lot. The first time i played this game i did not check the pay table and kept on playing on the smallest bet (€0.15) after about 15 spins i hit five wilds and won €50, in total on that spin i won over €60. Since that i have been addicted to this game and play it till this day.

I like the look and size of the individual sporting icons. They are nicely presented, are big in size and not looking cluttered, not like the icons in Break Away, the ice hockey game, with some icons being cluttered and looking messy. That snowy animation of the background scenario in this Winter Gold game completes the winter atmosphere very nicely indeed, making me feel very cool, relaxed and comfortable playing the game. Only a very few Microgaming games can do this to me.

The logo 'Winter Gold' is the Wild symbol, paying 5000x the line bet for getting 5 of them. Sadly, it only does substitution of other symbols except the Scatter symbol, and doesn't do anything else like doubling of wins, becoming stacked or expanding on the reels. Still a dumb symbol to me. The Gold Medal is the Scatter symbol, paying a very good 400x the total bet for 5 of them, and getting 3 or more of these Scatters trigger the Bonus Wheel Feature. A spin of this Bonus Wheel determines the prize to be awarded, either an instant Coins win, a Free Spins game, a Bobsleigh race, a Biathlon race, a Ski Jumping race or a Speed Skating race.
