This 25-paylines game has the Roast Turkey/Chicken as the Wild symbol, paying 2400x the line bet for 5 of them, and substitutes for other symbols except the Ghost Scatter symbols. Typically of games nowadays, this Wild symbol is a dumb Wild symbol that doesn't double any wins with it, and doesn't become stacked or expanded. There are 3 Ghost Scatter symbols in this game - the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Future. These Scatter symbols don't pay anything for themselves, argh, but getting 3 or more of each of them triggers each corresponding Feature game. Scrooge pays 1000x, the Bell pays 800x, the Coins pay 500x, the Presents pay 400x, the Signboard pays 200x, and the rest pay from 150x to 50x, all per line bet for 5 of each kind. A very low paytable.
Triggering the Ghost of Christmas Past feature awards 3, 6 or 12 free spins, with a guaranteed win on each free spin. Any of the other 2 feature games can also be triggered during this game. The same goes for the Ghost of Christmas Future feature. The Ghost of Christmas Present feature transforms all Ghost symbols on the reels into Wild symbols for that spin only. No free spins are awarded. Well, each Ghost has its own feature game, playing and paying differently, but I honestly cannot say which one of the 3 plays and pays better. As far as I'm concerned, I couldn't get anything good from any of them.
The 2 Free Spins games that I got from this A Christmas Carol game all paid poorly with only a 5x and 13x my bet amount. Sheesh! I cannot see how good big wins can ever come from such a low paytable, especially when the Free Spins game only award 3 free spins! Very disappointing indeed!
