Also, lately I've been more interested in Big Time Gaming slots so that's another reason why I wanted to give Donuts a fair try.

Donuts is a lovely looking slot with 4 reels and a free spins bonus round and yes, the main inspiration for the game is Donuts- how can you not like it? The highest paying symbols are the colored donuts while there's also letter and number symbols that represent the low-paying symbols. What I really like about this game is the fact that it has very friendly bet sizes for low-rollers as you can bet as little as 5 cents per spin. The game pays in ways and whenever you're getting a big win, you'll notice the BTG's well-known slow spins. Additionally, I like the fact that when you do get a bonus by 3 bonus symbols, you will get 12 free spins and beforehand, you'll play 3 spins where you'll discover your free spins multiplier. If a donut lands with a multiplier, it will reset the spins back to 3. The most exciting part is that you can also land a 50x multiplier donut so the multiplier can go quite high.

With the nice things being said, I have to admit I'm not a fan of this slot. And that's only because my experience with the slot payous so far has been incredibly low. I've had multiple sessions with Donuts and have had free spins bonus only twice and none of them paid over 50x bet. I find the bonus to be very hard to trigger, I've had a session with over 500 spins without a single bonus feature which makes me think it's a very volatile slot. And so far my biggest win of 60x bet came from a base game hit with the highest paying symbol- purple donuts. That's quite a shame.

All in all, I have no doubt that Donuts slot has a great winning potential yet I find it very volatile and for me it's been mostly cold sessions with no bonus features. I will continue to play it as I want to see if I can land a good bonus feature but I also won't spend too much money on it as the game has proven to be quite the money-eater. And base game wins over 10x bet don't come up too often either.

The game has some interesting bet sizes as you can spin only for 0.05$ per spin which is something I don't see that often, making it great for low rollers or you can choose max bet of 12.50$.

Donuts slot is kept simple with symbols as there are not too many of them. There are 6 low paying symbols and 4 premium symbols. The low paying symbols are represented by the typical card deck 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A, while the premium ones are green, blue, red and purple donuts. There is a wild symbol too that is a Jukebox and appears on reels 2 and 4 only.

The game offers free spins if you are able to get 3 or 4 Golden Donut symbol(scatter) on the reel, you’ll then be awarded 12 or 20 free spins. Before the free spins start you will see the new reel called Bonus Countdown and it contains only blanks and golden donuts. Your goal is to get as many Golden Donuts to increase your multiplier, the most I got was 72x so the potential is unbelievable. I triggered the bonus a couple of times, the first time it only paid 70x which was somewhat disappointing, but my second free spins were amazing. I started off with 12 free spins and 72x multiplier and finished with 170x, which is a nice win but could be better for sure. There were many dead spins sadly which will happen a lot to anyone playing Donuts.

In my opinion, every release from Big Time Gaming is worth trying, especially Donuts as the RTP is pretty fair 96.54% and the maximum win of 40,000x makes this game really fun to play, as you know it can change your life basically.
