Again the music is spot on this slot. Don’t believe it? Listen for yourself during free spins, and tell me how not to get hypnotized by this masterpiece of a slot. Although Owl Eyes also has some elements that could have been better in my opinion, I am certainly happy with this game. In fact, I should be ashamed that I been wasting lots of money on terrible other games.

Problem is not every online casino tends to offer NextGen Gaming. So it’s easy to forget about them but Owl Eyes is definitely one that should be cherished. Owl Eyes offers 5-reels, 4-rows and a total of 50-paylines. The number of paylines is not fixed however, but I would always advise to use the max number of paylines.

The minimum bet on this game is 50 cents and that’s the bet size I usually choose when playing this game. The theme is set from the point of view from an Owl in a magical forest. As such you can see a beautiful background, trees, leafs, mushrooms etc form the symbols.

In addition, there are stacked wilds appearing on reel 2, 3 and 4. So the potential to hit a big win is even there during base game. The moon symbol functions as a scatter btw. You need at least 3 of them to trigger the free spins feature. You get 5 free spins if you managed to do that and that’s basically my only point of criticism. Why just only 5? I wish it could have been a bit more.

During free spins mode the stacked wilds appear more frequently though. My biggest win during base game was around 75x bet size, but FS mode obviously make that look like a silly prize. I managed to get reels 2, 3 and 4 completely wild one time and ended up winning more than 200 euros from a 50 cent bet. I even managed to re-trigger the feature during free spins a couple times.

Other notable wins were 160x bet size and 140x bet size. So this game is definitely worth a shot.

Strange, but this slot belongs to that group of games where we can see different type of graphics quality. In my opinion the background images of this slot are really fantastic. The tranquil forest picture is very captivating where we can see little luminous fireflies while the ambient lights of the moon can be seen in the back. This cozy picture is just getting better and more powerful with the greatly used all kind of black and blue colors so this entire screen is a very well done job as well the other image which has an awesome Moon illustration.

On the other hand I don’t find the used symbols such graphically impressive and it seems that reel area didn’t get such detailed attention from the developers. I’m not saying it would be ugly or something like that but I definitely can’t consider it as better than average pictorial work. A little bit strange for me this kind of discordant experience but I like that at least the reel has a transparent background so the really superb-drawn forest image can be seen in its entirely.

This is a 50-payline product but we can’t say it would be a too complicated or feature rich slot which is not a major problem in this case and there are some other things that seemingly should be better or have better qualities like the best paying line win that rewards us with just 1000 coins which is a little bit poor and I also would love to see if the free spins would consist of more than 5 spins but playing the game these kind of things don’t become issues at all.

Strangely that 5 spins can be really good enough sometimes to get some nice winnings and at the end of that very short bonus round we can return to the main game with some kind of satisfaction. Not once happened when I could continue playing after pocketed €70-€90 at free spins mainly thanks to the Wild symbol which more frequently appears there– basically almost in every spin – in stacked format on the three inner reels and doubles the wins. It may happen when not just one reel turns into Wilds and when lot of Wilds are on the table, well, this is always a promising situation and gives us a reason to hope that something good is going to happen which is luckily realized occasionally.

If someone would still want to increase the incoming there is always the great gambling feature to do that and normally I like NextGen’s such kind of extra mini game but somehow I’ve noticed the more I use this feature the less times I can predict the color of cards and maybe it’s just a coincidence but I’ve never experienced this tendency at other NextGen’s product.

Overall, this is a very correct product and taking out of consideration the little oddity of pictorial works the slot is really living up to my expectations and works as it should be. Yes, there are always rooms for improvement (I have never played with a game yet that would be perfect) but this slot really can entertain me with gameplay, dazzle me with its appearance and make me smile with its rewarding ability at times. I don’t think I should expect much more from a great video slot so I could encourage everyone to come and try this cool and relaxing product.

e owl symbol is a wild in this game and it can come stacked on reels 2, 3 and 4. He substitutes for all other symbols except for the scattered moon. Stacked wilds are always a good feature in a game especially when it’s a 50 payline slot. It would be even better if the wilds could come stacked on all reels but nevertheless you can have some nice wins like this.

From the bonus features this game offers only a free spins bonus. It is triggered when you get 3 scattered moons and you are awarded with 5 free spins. During the free spins extra wilds are added for a bigger payout. The free spins bonus can also be retriggered.

That’s pretty much everything I can say about the feature now something about the game play. In most Skill on Net casinos the minimum bet to play this game is 2.5 euros which is pretty high. I have tried this game several times and I can say it lacks an extra feature. This game is like Merlin’s Millions or Merlin’s Magic respins but it lacks the extra wild respins or wild multipliers to for some big payouts. This way during base play you get 1 or 2 reels of stacked wilds tops and that’s pretty much all you can win. During the free spins bonus extra wilds are added but I still haven’t managed to get the 3 central reels full of wilds. You get 1 or 2 reels of wilds but very rarely have 5 of a kind wins. The most I have won was about 80 x bet in the bonus and only because I had one 5 of a kind win with the highest paying symbol.

is was when I got almost two wild reels – second and third. The big win screen appear and I won around x30 bet. I think this is good, all payouts were decent during my gameplay session.

Here is only free spins feature. When you get three or more scatter symbols you are awarded with 5 free spins with additional stacked wilds. I like this feature, I triggered it twice. I never won any big win over x100 bet, but I like video slots which offer stacked wild symbols during free games. I think this game could provide some big winnings during base game and also from free spins feature.

The graphics and sounds are good, I think all into this game is perfect. Even paytable is not so bad. I think I could play this game more often, I like it. Also animation background is good, on some way it could relax you. I think this game is much better than some others from this software company. And by that I mean graphics and visual effects. On pay outs it is a decent, good but there is some other video slots which can provide even bigger winnings than this one.

I will rate this game with 8 out of 10 possible stars. I think here could be some bonus game too, the game has 50 pay lines so I expected some bonus game with pick up prizes. Otherwise I do not have any bad words to say, I enjoy while I was playing it.

Wish the game had more than 5 free spins to offer. I guess the RTP would be above 100% then if that was the case lol. Ah well, maybe in the next version if there will be one.
