One for 5 coconuts that paid me $25 and the other for 5 frogs for $50!!! Unfortunately, I wanted one of the toucans to pat that sweet as* 3x in those spins but they never came for either of my 5 of a kinds. I wish it did.

The feature for 3 scattered fruits put me in position to reap $32....that's only if my fellow toucans do come out on one or more of the 3 reels (1st, 3rd and/or 5th). Sadly, my 9 free spins don't have a multiplier but they do compensate when the toucans not only pay me 3x on my combination but also they take up the whole reel! Yes, a 3x paying expanding reel!! For my 9 Free spins making strong cooperation......$32 were mostly expected. If the toucans don't show much then my winnings would only reach about $11. Hitting 4 of a kind Aces three times when the Triple toucan wild hit the first reel was neat and I liked the way the Toucan starts yelling out when he hits my combinations as the music sets in! That's a wonderful RTG idea!

Triple Toucan’s paytable shows some differences from that of Triple Twisters’ but does not improve anything by much. The Toucan icon is the Wild symbol, does not pay for itself, triples all wins with it, and appears only on reels 1, 3 and 5. The Fruit icon is the scatter symbol and pays 300 x the total bet for 5 of-its-kind, while the highest paying symbol, the Parrot, pays 3000 x the line bet. 1 star down.

As with Triple Twister, there is only a free spins feature game to win in Triple Toucan. 3, 4 or 5 Fruit Scatter symbols will trigger 9, 15 and 25 free spins respectively. The Wild symbol, the Toucan, appears only on reels 1, 3 and 5 and becomes an Expanding Wild during the free spins, which should give out some interesting payouts, but not as greatly as it could if the Expanding Wilds are not confined to just the three reels. 1 star down.

Trying to get the 3 Fruit symbols to get the free spins feature was like trying to catch a real live Toucan bird! The third symbol just kept on escaping away, eluding appearance on the reels, which was very disappointing to me indeed. It wasn’t like I have been playing and waiting for just 10 or 15 minutes to get a free spins feature game, it was already like 45 to 60 minutes of playing, waiting, expecting and frustrating! It was so damn hard to get any free spins on Triple Toucan! When I finally got my first free spins game, the 9 spins were fruitful enough and paid me about 50 x my total bet. Not so bad. When the second one came later, it paid me a miserable 15 x my total bet and I was cursing away at the game. Worse still, a third free spins game didn’t even make an appearance as my bankroll rolled down to the bottom of the ditch. Damn!

I didn’t enjoy playing Triple Toucan at all. The game play was just not worth the time and effort, while the wins were simply out of my expectations. 1 star down.

The symbols we can play here are nicely drawn frogs, parrots, coconuts, fruits and even the supplementary card elements are also got a little flower decoration. I think this slot can really create a wonderful, enjoyable mood and I always appreciate when surroundings like these are around me when I’m playing.

Triple Toucan is a 20-payline slot where the game features are quite decent and even though it doesn’t offer any type of bonus game I think there are not much left out from this game and the player can be satisfied more or less what this game can offer. The name giving Toucan symbol is the Wild of the slot and when it does the job in this functionality it can triple the wins if it’s a part of the winning combination when appears on the first, third or fifth reel. If we can see an active line is full of Parrots and at least one Toucan we can be happy about it because it means we pulled out the top paying five of a kind line win and our balance increased with 9000 coins (naturally this kind of win without a Wild is worth only 3000 times of line bet).

The Fruits symbol is the Scatter and has the ability to present a great 300 times of total bet prize if 5 of them appear anywhere on the screen but we can see this icon more when doing its secondary job, concretely to trigger the great free spin feature. The awarded number of extra games can be 9, 15 or 25 depending on how many triggering symbols popped up on the last spin and though the spins there are played with normal conditions of the triggering spin but at least the Wild works here with expanding formats, covering the entire reel if it appears.

All that can be said about this product, it’s a pleasant but otherwise just an average product. The game segment work as it should bringing nothing new or real exciting things to the table but at least what we get here has rock solid quality and it seems Triple Toucan has a very fair working scheme. Sometimes I can more appreciate a game like this where I know what can the slot provide me than a game with full of super features what never can be seen or just disappoint us because it can’t live up to the expectations. I like this game for the atmosphere, the nice animals and flowers and the correct rewarding system. Should I ask for more from a modern slot game?
