At this 3-reel, 5-payline slot we can play with the most traditional symbols like Bars and 7’s and even with flowers and special Gold Coast emblem. The line bet can be varied from €0.25 up to 5 and of course we have the freedom to choose how many paylines we want to use. The Jackpot of the game is nice 6000 coins and with the same winning combinations but having it on other paylines it can be 4000, 3000, 2000 and if for some reasons we would want to use the game as a traditional machine with just the center line the main prize is still 1000 times of bet amount. Naturally, the name giving Gold Coast pictogram could be our best friend here and not just because of its Jackpot providing ability but this emblem also serves the game as Wild but when it’s substituting it doesn’t multiply wins but at least luckily it replaces Flower icon which is the less paying participant here and the only one that pays, better saying returns the line bet if just one of them appears on any paylines.

After I got familiar with the game features and rules I was ready for a great session. At the beginning, it was a pleasant surprise that the game showed some very good paying qualities and not many spins went by without wins and it also was the time when I tried the game with different paylines in use and later I decided to leave it as it was and play with all lines. So the Wild really did its job and appeared frequently as well the Flower symbol which lot of times returned my line bet and got 3 or 4 times 3 Single Bars diagonally. The first dozen minutes went without any bigger wins and because I had a little success earlier with football games at betting section I raised my bets and played some round with €2.50 total bet which is definitely wasn’t sync with my usual used playing style so a short while later I decreased the bets but this time I gave up the chance for winning of 6000 coins and played the game with just 3-lines but with €0.50 line bet.

This story so far is absolutely not interesting and it seems just another very average play session but lucky for me the adventure took a fortunate turn. Of course I was truly happy and excited about this success, so my balance stood at €437 and I thought to continue gambling until my bankroll decreases max. €425, so I changed nothing and kept playing further when suddenly 3 Wilds arrived again but this time their target was the upper line and that spin was worth €500. Needless, to say how I felt myself and to be honest it was some kind of huge satisfaction because recently the things didn’t go my way. After it I stopped playing because I was sure that from that point the luck wasn’t going to my side anymore and I wanted to enjoy this great run.

It’s hard for me to be objective after this great first impression but if I take out of the consideration my success on Gold Coast, I still think this is a rock solid product and Microgaming did a very great job with it. In the past, my opinion about Microgaming classic series wasn’t too good and simple didn’t find them good enough but now after meeting some promising and very decent machines I think I must revise my standpoint because for example here I like how the game looks like, the design of the interface but more importantly how I’m treated by the game and the great game settings. Further play sessions are required for me to dare to recommend this slot anyone but my first impression was very positive and I’m really excited to return here in the near future and find out what’s left in the tank.
