GamesOS is one of them, and Golden India was one of the games that I had played when it was newly released many years ago. Now I'm back on it again, but playing it only for this once, just one last time, for writing a review sake, to refresh all the old memories on it.

In those days, I wasn't concerned at all about how the paytable would be. I was only concerned on how the game would play and pay out, either goodly or badly. Honestly speaking, when Golden India was still fresh from the oven, so to speak, the game played not too badly, as I can remember it, but I couldn't win on it, even after several tries. But now I'm back to blast the game in revenge, because my recent play on it was nothing short of a horrifying disaster!

Golden India plays with 25 paylines, with the Flower as the Wild symbol, substituting for other symbols except the Scatter and the Bonus symbols. It is a totally dumb Wild symbol as it does nothing else. It doesn't pay for itself, it doesn't double any wins with it, and it doesn't become stacked or expanded. The Taj Mahal is the Scatter symbol, again another dumb symbol that doesn't pay anything for itself, but getting 3, 4 or 5 of them triggers 5, 10 or 15 free spins without any multiplier. What the argh! The Princess is the Bonus symbol, yeah, the third dumb symbol in the game, that only award the Princess Bonus game by getting 3 or more of them on any active payline. As for the other symbols in the game, The Cow pays 500x, the Tiger pays 200x, the Peacock pays 200x too, and the rest pay from 100x to 50x, all per line bet for 5 of each kind. A ridiculously low paytable!

In the Princess Bonus game, pick 3 out of 6 plates to win instant cash prizes, but don't ever be surprised by the size of the prizes! They are simply ridiculously low! As for the Free Spins game, how much can 5 free spins without any win multiplier pay? Wanna know the answer? It's hardly ever more than 1x your total bet amount! My last play on the game gave me 3 Free Spins games, and they paid out 0.5x, 1x and 0.7x my bet amount! How's that for a super duper ridiculously outrageous low payouts? The Princess Bonus games were even worse! They paid me 0.15 EUR, 0.70 EUR and 0.35 EUR for my 0.25 EUR bets. The best I got was not even 3x my bet amount!

Needless to say, what the basic theme of the slot is and players get a really attractive interface with it. Graphically nicely illustrated, specific symbols that we can play with and we can get a little taste of the sights of India (Taj Mahal, Hindu woman, lotus flower, tiger). I believe GamesOs really did a great job in visualization and the slot got a very beautiful and elegant appearance.

The problem with the slot (and generally with the most GamesOS products) is clearly not concern to the visible screen but much more the required minimum stake. At this 25-payline slot the minimal line bet is $0.20 so if we want to use the game in full potential we must stake a serious $5 total bet per spin. Maybe I have already expressed how stupid thing that I find it and never understood why they must limit the players’ margin.

Focusing only on the game segment, unfortunately it’s simple not good. The payouts are weak, the features can’t impress and there are other limitations of functions. The more you can collect if the best symbol form a full line is 500 times of line bet which is almost unacceptable, the Wild just can replace other icons on a winning formula but not just unable to multiply the wins but also can’t pay in itself and same goes to the Scatter pictogram that has only task to activate 5, 10, 15 free spins which are played without any added extra qualities.

The slot’s only side game The Golden Princess bonus game after 3 Bonus symbols appeared on an active line in basic game mode. Then we get to a fantastic, peaceful and relaxing secondary screen when we have to select 3 golden plates and the Princess reveals their instant cash prizes. This bonus is a poor paying extra and most of the time it’s absolutely not worth to get an entry there.

Honestly, this is the product which only can give me any plus and valuable elements in visualization and all other part and segment of the game is bad or useless. I think however beautiful the images are or have great graphics but they’re very far from being enough to make me think about to be here an everyday player. I don’t want to repeat myself but really all I can say about this game is it has tempting symbols and amazing background image of the secondary game and that’s all, so I dare to name it a bad slot game and definitely doesn’t deserve to be recommended.

What do I dislike most about this Golden India game? All of it! The damn low values of the symbols, the non-paying Wild symbols, the non-paying Scatter symbols, the non-paying Bonus symbols, the rubbish prizes from the Princess Bonus games, as well as the rubbish payouts from the Free Spins games. Not one single thing is worth anything in Golden India. This game is meant to lay quietly in the deepest ocean, never to be disturbed!
