I think Microgaming has once again put in an excellent performance in developing this innovative and ‘catchy’ game.

Of course there are enough slots based on robots you can find from several software providers, including NetEnt, Microgaming and Playtech, but this game definitely offers something different. It even gave me some type of nostalgic feeling, where I was thinking of the SNES console game Mega Man.

That game also has some catchy background melody just like Mega Man did. The slot itself has a 243 ways to win format and the symbols are made of Robo Jack, Wilds and various objects and the usual high value cards. The minimum bet is only €0.30 per spin, but my bets were on €1.20 on average.

The best paying symbols are the wilds and Robo Jack himself. During base game I found myself having several small hits of 20 x betsize in only a short time. Even those small hits will make you appreciate the game much more and increase your bankroll steadily.

The base game is not so interesting for me, because it has not any feature or mode. Otherwise while I was playing it, I had some good winnings when wild symbols were on the reels. I also had a lot of two scatter symbols and it was funny. I really like paytable for scatters, because if you get two of them you get your money back. Without those payouts I think I would reach zero on my balance faster. Sure it could payout more than just x1 bet, maybe at least x2 or more.

The free spins are interesting. Before the start there are five robots, each has its own special power, feature mode. A robot will be randomly awarded and you may accept it and start free spins or try again for a different robot. You have only one chance to try again for a different robot. I had a few times free spins feature and my best result was from free spins with extra wilds. A little thing which bothered me was that every time I had only one symbols that turns wild. Never more than 1 on the reels, but even that, I had a good win around x 100 bet. I think it could be much more higher if I got at least two turning wild symbols.

Otherwise I think this is a decent, good game with good potential on winnings. Maybe I will play it more in the near future.

This is a great game and I have played this slot so many times. The wins during the base game are awesome too. For five of a kind I once got 30 x bet, and this happens a lot. The thing is that I have not won anything more than this but I can say that this is a great game with a huge potential. For that reason I play it very often. Sadly though, "Robo Jack" is more of a "Fish Party" than an "Immortal Romance" and it seems the majority of players had all but forgotten about it within a month or so of release.

One of the most outstanding features of this game is the huge numbers of free spins awarded - up to 60 for the most basic feature, and a retrigger can also award up to a further 50 free spins too! This is quite unusual for a 243 ways game but a definite plus. The jackpot is very low for this type of game though at just 1200x stake which might go some way to explaining its lack of popularity considering many other 243 ways games are capable of returning up to and in some cases even more than 10,000x your bet.

The graphics are nicer and has some very catchy soundtracks that makes my head go nodding and my foot tapping. It makes both your feet go tapping? Oh gees, that's a lot better than my one foot, hahaha. The soundtrack reminds me of a similar very catchy tune in the Zombies mode Free Spins game in Lost Vegas. A good soundtrack do make the game more enjoyable, win or lose, right?

As for me, I tend to like the 2-Scatters Trigger game more than the rest, because it needs only 2 Scatters to appear on the reels to retrigger the Free Spins game. Nope, it doesn't always give lots of retriggers, and neither does it always pay good. The Scatter Prizes game tends to be more consistent in terms of payouts with its random 1x - 10x multipliers. The Extra Wilds and the 3x Multiplier games can be rather erratic at times, with low and good payouts, but I found the 1 Wild Reel game to be the least favourable amongst the 5, with its low wins and many non-winning 1 Wild Reel spins. My best win on the game is still below the 100x total bet amount, but that's satisfactory enough for me, considering the not-so-many number of times that I have played this game.

The 2 scattered dollar signs needed to trigger 8 extra free spins never came on any of my spins, only that of just one bonus scatter! I'd avoid the pink fembot for extra free spins and the 3 x multiplier robot, they did nothing great but as for the other 3 robots which are the purple scatter pay robot and the Wild reel robot, they do a better job with the wins!!! I'm not quite sure about the Extra wild robot however as he seems tough to take down for me during the choice round!
