There are stuff that's missing (not enough wilds on Texan Tycoon and no overall multiplier on Crystal Waters) or has something that the other game doesn't have. In Texan Tycoon for $0.50 and sometimes for a $1 per spin, I found many 3 combination symbols like oil drums and 3 trucks with the Wild Texan.

Often times I get 2x and 3x but not too often a 10x multiplier! It does make a terrible impression when I get symbols that put 10x on really low paying symbols like three 9's or 4 jacks! This'll definitely go great with the worst screenshot thread! The feature for 3 scattered oil wells prompted me to choose a well to collect my free spins. I can get 8 Free spins, 10, 15 or even 25 on a pick. It's pretty random so I can't spot the predictable! It'll give me a max choice of 15 or 25 free spins depending on my luck which is one small flaw here after my chosen oil well scatter. I won in total on $0.50 around $18 - $24 and on $1 triggering bet, I had $60.50!!!

It's kind of hard to put symbols on the Wild Texan because it may or may not be there to support my symbols for a random multiplier! The free spins music sounds so southern, with the use of a harmonica to describe a way for a person to strike oil! I like how free spins are tripled throughout but I'm just not liking the limited 1 wild Texan symbol in the centre. It's just plain hard to complete symbols without the wilds everywhere!

Best feature for me paid x 150 total bet, i get 5 of a kind aces, but multiplier from wild was low, unfortunately.

I think it is medium-high variance game, that can pay huge winnings if player get lucky with wild multiplier. I recommend this game since it can pay and since it is interesting to play it.

Though I don’t really sympathize its subject or illustration style but I can accept is and sometimes I love its whole appearance with the well-known RTG design and somehow we’ve reached that point when it also can entertain me with its decent look.

But why I really loved this slot is the great feature set. They not just seem to be good on paytable but playing and using them I see the benefits and they really work in serious situations, too.

As we’re used to it at RTG’s products, Texan Tycoon offer Random Jackpot to win which surely a tempting power for some players but here the game features also deserve own attention. Tycoon character is the Wild and it just appear on the middle reel but in return every win with it multiplied by a randomly chosen value in the range of x 2-x 10. I think I could count on my one hand how many times I saw x 10, but the second best x 5 multiplier very often can do its job, especially during free games. It’s still a surprise me this value is the most common participant there and thanks to it in my usual sessions the final won amount at extra games never was less than x 25-x 35 but it’s not that rare if it can climb above x 100.

By the way, 3 Oil Wells trigger this feature and after picking one of the activating symbols on the screen it can award up to 25 free games. As the Scatter this Oil Well has payout ability too and can present up to 200 times of total bet. The best paying 5 of a kind win is achievable with Bank Rolls emblems if they appear on an active line and the normal prize is just 1500 but mixing with Wild it can be even 15.000 coins, too.

As I’ve said I became a big fan of this game mainly because of its generous behavior. I think this slot performs as every other gambling product should and fortunately the better faces of features are also shown here. I have some concerns about the visual appearance but it’s not a big prize if sometimes I can get some nice rewards in return. Yeah, for a wealthy tycoon, his paytable reflects his stinginess. Nothing pays a lot, unless won with his 10 x win multiplier. Yeah, right, but how often can you get that? Not only that, he also pays 2 x, 3 x and 5 x as well, rarely pays 10 x, making getting a big win so much harder, and worse still, this Wild Tycoon doesn’t pay for himself, only for wins with him. Oh yeah, yet another worse thing, this Wild Tycoon only appears on reel 3 and doesn’t even expand! Like I said, a real stingy tycoon fella this! 1 star down.

For free spins, you need to get 3 or more of the Oil Well Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels, which would award you with either 8, 10, 15 or 25 free spins, but the 25 spins choice is not always available though. Most of the time, I got only the 8 free spins, but all wins are tripled, if that’s anything to go by. No other special feature is available, no Win-Win feature either. If the free spins don’t pay, just too bad. 1 star down.

It's the only wild throughout this game. But for Crystal Waters, the free spins are fixed to 15 Free spins with 2x stacked dolphins on 2nd and 4th reels plus a bonus fish that may make a beauty of a wild impression on the 3rd reel for up to 8x wins yet no 3x multiplier throughout the feature. I don't like that one Texan wild is being limited only in that 3rd reel because I got to make natural combinations mostly without it. I would prefer all of these wilds to be everywhere during the feature!
